Derby blood
just wondering if anyone has heard why Thorne was not in the side yesterday? If it is a injury , is it short or long term? We really miss Thorne when he is not in the team, the lad is pure class, just wish he could have a good run of games 20 plus on the run, then watch Derby go we would be unstoppable, yes that's how much I rate this player. Colm
listened to clement's post-match interview on rams player and he mentioned that he was "close" to returning, so should be back soon... taken out as a precaution so that he's more effective in the long term. deano180
Appears worst case scenario bk after international break, hopeful for Brentford.Keep Christie in if Thorns back on Sat, give Baird a bench slot, he will get games in International break. -JW-
Why was there no mention of an injury after the Burnley game? It's becoming a familiar pattern, hobble off after 70 mins, out for 3 games, comes back, hobbles off after 71 mins etc.

LesterRam
i think we are resigned to the fact that georgy boy is going to miss most of the season, I would like to see hanson step up whilst he is absent.

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army
It's getting beyond silly now with his Injuries. As much as people might like him and he's a good player when fit, he is a bad signing. One more injury and he has to be put down, get him booked into the vets and put everybody out of their misery. cheron85
Thought Burnley was a case of bringing him back 'quickly' so not overly shocked he was rested for this game...Think this season is going to be a case of easing him back in... The guy was out for over a year with a couple of injuries... He's gonna pick up little niggles at first and we have to ease him back in... Doesn't help matters that he's a totally committed player who throws himself about and runs his legs off every game!
RadioactiveWaste
Given the attrition in our midfield this season, I think resting him for one match is a good idea. Long as its not a knee, he can have as many tight calves as he likes.
