Derbados
A 3-0 loss, and they've been well beaten. they were well beaten because they had a man sent off, they absolutely murdered Sunderland up until that point
G STAR RAM
Newcastle beat Norwich 6-2 last week, Sunderland are beating Newcastle 3-0 right now, does this mean Sunderland should beat Norwich 18-6?Doesn't work like that fool...it would be 9-2! A 3-0 loss, and they've been well beaten. Did you watch the first half?

You are pulling our respective plonkers. The first 45 against Leeds is up there with our worst performances under Clement.

The first 45 against Leeds is up there with our worst performances under Clement. Our performances overall after those first 5 games though were very good, and we played very well in the second half of that match. It was a case of a side that was a bit inconsistent half to half, but that performed far better than 4 points from 5 games, particularly for a side that had it's midfield demolished with injuries. RadioactiveWaste
Newcastle looked a much better team. The score line did flatter Scunderland TBH, they offered nothing in the first half, Newcastle still made more opportunities in the second a man down and got punished through 1 defensive lapse and being caught on the break once. On the basis on this game, I'd back Newcastle to do well, Scunderland to do very little, played above themselves for the Derby, had all the luck and still offered little creativity and got opened up more than once. The big worry for Newcastle is that they've mistake prone and seem to be finding a way to lose much of the time, rather than being beaten. The number of reds they've giving away must be a worry for management as well. They've got a good squad, but they really need to start putting the points on the board sooner rather than later, we're already at the end of October. Things only get harder when the pressure starts piling on.

Very good is going too far. It was ok with some promising signs. We were lucky to get out of Bolton with a point. Granted, we conceded very unlucky goals in all three 1-1 draws, but we didn't really create enough chances of our own to get the wins.As for today, Newcastle must feel like McFranchise did after we mugged them. The only thing we learned today is what we already know, both Newcastle and Sunderland are crap and will do well to avoid relegation.

Albert
Should Newcastle look at a change of management?Sherwood is available I believe. They should stick with McClaren, he wanted that job for 15 years after all, but the big worry is that his record seems to show he's really not one for a crisis. I'm confident he'll do well there if they get themselves out of this mess, but if they're still in the relegation places come Christmas... things could ugly very quickly. Very good is going too far. Cam the Ram
http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11678/10079174/mcclaren-in-coloccini-row Steve McClaren delivered a few "home truths" to his Newcastle players following a training ground bust up - with Fabricio Coloccini singled out for criticism. It is understood McClaren, along with his coaching team, including Paul Simpson, Steve Black and Ian Cathro, were caught up in a stand-up row with several players on Monday as he accused them of lacking the determination needed to represent the club. The catalyst for the row came after several senior players were moaning about a referring decision and it is understood this led to McClaren explaining a few "home truths" about what he sees as a lack of effort and determination by a number of those players. I reckon Coloccini chucked tea over Steve
