there's always some clown jumps on any word said. Get a life youth

Not jumping on your words at all, just if you haven't seen him you can't say how he compares to Will.

I haven't seen enough to know either, I hope he is better then we'll have signed a bargain.

Not any A-Ha song I know and, keep it to yourself, but I did see the Scandinavian popsters live in their heyday.

I pulled the song from Twitter hoping it was in a form that would play for anyone. It's on this guy's TL: https://twitter.com/temcterrier1977

Nowt wrong with that. Can't beat the 80's.

I've heard it now. It was actually the same bloke who did the song I was on about.

From what i've seen, he is a very decent player, his first thought is to move forward with the ball. Whether that be a pass or a dribble. Very glad we stood our ground and waited for him. That way we haven't payed stupid money.

Oh, and he does love a screamer! Look forward to seeing some.

All you guys who rate him so highly, why did none of you put his name forward in the player suggestion thread??

I rated him as the best midfielder in the Championship during his Barnsley days under Keith Hill. You will find plenty of posts on that. However, after suffering a ligament injury and missing about a year, he kind of disappeared.

It looked for a while his career had panned with somehwat failed loan spells at Bolton and Palace.

At Boro I didn't really follow his progress, and Hudderfield were one of the clubs I literally had no interest in last season, so I never saw him play other than against us.

I'm not sure about his level of ability now, but if he's anywhere near as good as he was for Barnsley, we're going to have a cracking player on our hands. A real tidy midfielder.

Heard a rumour that Jake Buxton is part of the Butterfield deal. Good business if that is the case!
