This is one place where fans can criticise the performances of the team and individual players without it actually affecting the targets of the criticism one iota, unless they're vain/daft enough to read fans forums. There's also a difference between criticism and "slagging off", although some conflate the two  : I'd never write "so-and-so was absolute ***** today, as usual" or "**** off back to xyz" or words to that effect.
What I do detest is getting on the players' or team's back during the game, boo-ing them off, ironic cheering of our goalkeepers, persistent abuse of individual players that I've heard all to often at PP and at away games, or doing any of that stuff on Social Media, particularly tagging the player concerned, which I think is despicable.
And, yes, Tom Lawrence does frustrate the hell out of me allot of the time, because he's got tremendous ability that he fails to apply consistently well IMHO, but I reckon Monday's game is the first time I've expressed that on here.

He certainly has talent but do many times when controlling a ball he moves it to a position where he must pass backwards. Almost as if he is frightened of giving the ball away going forward. There is a time for safety and a time for gung-ho and we are in a position where we need to win so have to go gung-ho more than maybe is the safest option. When we play with pace we look like the real deal capable of beating most teams. Slowly slowly catchie monkey does not work for us. Also think Morrison could show himself more to give Roos an option of throwing it to him because what we are doing now from the keeper is the root source of our downfall. BTW what has CKR added to the team when he has come on. He is not busting a gut like the rest are. Monday on the pitch for about 17 minutes, 2 touches, 1 misplaced pass.

I can't fathom out if Chris Kirchner sitting next to Wayne Rooney's agent to watch the game is particularly healthy or not? It might be a good thing having a club owner and a manager joined at the hip, it might not.
I still think Rooney is a somewhat unknown quantity as a manager. He has never played with a full deck. His hands have always been tied behind his back. However, there is absolutely no questioning his knowledge of football. He has lived and breathed it every single day since he was a child. Performed at the very highest level. There is no questioning his ability to motivate our players to perform. I think when he is given an even keel, his tactical nous will mature. There is no questioning his commitment to this club.
Consider where our league position would be without the points deductions? Not too bad given all the circumstances.
Please don't think of me as his biggest fan. I don't think of him as saving us from the drop last season. I actually think he almost took us down. This season is different, sadly there are possibly some inevitabilities and I always believe a manager should be given time.

Been excellent in recent games. Provider, grafter, goal threat... He's shown the lot.
Things may be pretty grim right now but they'd be a damn sight worse without Tom in the side.

Not sure about that, slow motion? He was quick to react to the rebound, controlled, flick and finish before our defence had a clue what was going on.
Had any of our players pulled that off in the last minute, I'm sure we would all be on all night with going on about the goal.

In the close ups shown on Sky, Kirchner looked pretty bored to me. On one occasion, he was just playing on his phone - wonder if it was a game of Candy Crush.

Tough one to take tonight. Don’t think we deserved it. They’re a good team and pushed us all game. We stood firm first half and limited them to few chances before finishing the half strongly ourselves. After they equalised we dug in and had another good spell. Then the subs were made and he went for it, could’ve scored the winner before they went down the other end and snatched it. I agree with the posters that say their striking options are the main difference. 2 or 3 times in the first half Fozzy put outstanding balls into the box to no one, a good striker would’ve made sure he was there in the space.

It would be harsh to question Rooney tactically when we’ve competed well against the top 3 but the Morrison experiment didn’t work. Felt for him as thought he worked hard but couldn’t get in the game. He’s not quick enough to play in that role nor big enough to physically compete. But Rooney has no options. Kazim has been woeful since coming back from injury, Baldock and Stretton are out. Whatever he does isn’t likely to change things so much.

Got some more winnable games coming up,  hope they can pick up some points and start to make things interesting again.

Just got back so not read the thread.  Flounced at a top level all the way back to the car.  We should’ve had a point out of that really.  Two pretty avoidable goals as per usual.
Obvious candidates for the mistakes leading to their goals, but was more peeved at Morrison being played where he was, with none of the rotation we’ve seen.  He was/is so ineffective there, no real press, no runs, never dropped into a pocket of space to show for the ball.  That can’t be all down to him.  He must’ve been following instructions?!
One more gripe as I’m boring myself now, Jozwiak.  Didn’t win one ball, didn’t look remotely interested in winning one.  The players that are still fighting looked dead on their feet second half and should be applauded for their efforts, carrying the weight of the teams predicament on their shoulders is weighing heavy on their legs.
I think the lesson to be learned here is to not start typing away as soon as you get home without thinking about it first, only to realise how tired you are and just trail off into the ………….

Morrison is a bit of a worry. I'm fine thinking he no longer has the zip or physicality to be a dynamic forward player. But it looked like he wanted to reinvent himself as a playmaker who had killer passes and vision that others lacked. All well and good but his workrate seems to have dropped right off and he just isn't finding space or demanding the ball, and he's lost that early precision. I hope it's a blip - we really could do with those players with a bit of extra quality that brings the best out in others.

They were good, but we weren’t much worse. If we’d been on our game we’d have beaten them. Think Morrison wasn’t up to it and was like playing with 10 men (hate saying that).
