    It'll be ok B4. Don't worry.
One way or another, there will always be a Derby County ?

Speaks really well imo, interview done after EFLs statement too so shows how close it is for him to sit down. Clear the stadium is the last issue

It disappears off plane trackers once the engine/transponders are turned off. It'll still be parked there until he goes back home.

I think we'll struggle to keep both next year. I'd like to, I think we'd be in possession of two of the top keepers in League One, but for that reason I can see one going. And if Allsop goes I think you can't complain if it's Roos with the gloves for the full season next year. I think he's earned it.
If Roos does leave, I think he's been an underrated servant of the club and has shown immense patience and mental strength. He's been given a really hard time by our fans for years and years, has made some really heartbreaking errors, and has had long spells with no appearances at times. And it's been 8 and a half years.
Still he remains here week after week, waiting for a chance, watching the team from the sidelines and supporting them from the bench. Not to mention his local community and charity work over lockdown
Say what you like about him as a goalkeeper but as a man, and as a professional, you cannot fault him.

Sure, there's not a great deal between them, which is probably why the nr 1 position went back and forth for a while.

At nearly 1/3 of Roos' alleged cost, Allsop is £ for £ a better keeper. He's also better on crosses and with the ball at his feet.
I'm pleased that Roos apparently played well today, but I doubt we can afford to match his current contract, so he'll probably be off.

Allsop's done very well - to say he isn't a good shot stopper is rubbish, he's made several excellent saves that have kept us in games since the turn of the year. He's not perfect, which is why he's playing in a team that even without a points deduction is towards the bottom of the Championship. Yes he can worry you with the ridiculous goal kick routine, but that's Rooney's problem for forcing them to do it all the time.
For me, he's been a real success story this season and has claimed the shirt completely. Hope he stays.

Wayne has done a good job this season with all the problems he and the squad have had to endure. It’s a miracle we got to three or four games left before we were formally relegated.
However, let’s not kid ourselves that he is the only manager who could do a job for us next season. We’re effectively starting from a clean slate and, even in our position, I think there’d still a be a queue of decent experienced managers who would want to take us on.
More than happy for Wayne to stay. But, if he does go, I hope it’s early on and he doesn’t do a Frank and mess us about, particularly with all the new players we’ll need to bring in.  New manager needs to come up with his list of frees and cheap signings that can make a competitive team.
I wouldn’t blame him if he did leave too. Everton in the Championship would be almost as an attractive proposition as The Rams in League 1 (?).

As his agent is Paul Stretford and was partly instrumental in bringing CK to the table I'd doubt he'd be pleading with him "to take any port in a storm"?‍♀️

I too hope that CK follows through and doesn't pull out but now I've written that down it doesn't seem quite right for some reason. ?

There are bad things beneath the surface at Everton - some decent managers have failed to turn it around.
It looks like Frank is also going to be unable to turn the stricken tanker and keep it off the rocks.
I love what Rooney is saying about staying with us in order to rebuild the club. However, he has also said that he now feels ready to manage in the Premier League (the lad does not lack confidence).
I cannot really imagine Rooney turning Everton down for a second time. This time it would not be the "beauty pageant" as he called it last time when he didn't fancy being interviewed for the post - it will be a straightforward job offer.
And, whatever the squad say about wanting to stay, the takeover will not happen soon enough to keep the vulture agents from the door. Heads will be turned, contracts with other clubs signed and our squad decimated. The rebuilding process - for Rooney or anyone - will be a long one.
It gets worse. If Rooney is tempted to Merseyside, will CK follow through with his acquisition?  He has openly said that Rooney is a big part of the attraction. The presence of Rooney's agent (spelling: Strefford?) as part of the "gang of three" (along with CK and Cook) suggests the connection between CK and Rooney may be stronger than seen publicly.
So, if Rooney goes and CK does pull out, then it clears the way for the opportunistic Ashley to make a late, low ball bid.
Obviously that's better than liquidation. But I would feel a lot less enthusiastic about the future than I would be under a CK/Rooney leadership.
    Let's hope it doesn't happen.
Come on Frank - save Everton and your job.
    CK, get the deal done.
Players stick around and learn under Rooney.
Rooney deliver us from the bad times.

From my very subjective research at the Supporters Club event last night, ? I think Lawrence, Ebiowei, Knight will go, possibly Sibley - seems genuinely upset he is not getting more pitch time. Kazim already gone in his head, didn't even bother to do the meet and greet bit of the evening. Whereas Plange and Ebosele really enjoyed themselves!
Morrison struggled to cope with being in a room with us all but seemed to appreciate the love.
Bielik is either a good liar or definitely wants to stay. He is such a good conversationalist, as are Ryan Allsop and Nathan Byrne - he seems keen to stay too, says he loves it here, but will surely get offers from Championship clubs.
All the rest of the young lads seem to want to stay, they love us fans. Let's see if they change their minds when the offers come in.
Cybulski was so excited to start but knew he needs to improve, says he wants to stay his whole career, which will no doubt thrill you cynics over in the matchday thread. ?
Wayne did comment in one of his speeches (he made several) that we need to be patient over the next couple of games as he will continue to be looking at potential within the squad for next season.  He didn't sound like he was going anywhere. ?

Predicictable I suppose. Change the team round, experiment quite a bit and those remaining have an adrenaline tank that’s running on fumes. Bit flat but not down. Felt sorry for Bart, could have had 2 , one of them would have been miraculous if he’d scored it though. He moved about well and made himself available but got very little service in the cold light of day. A slip from Curtis and Stearman caught napping by that dirty, irritating … but skilled no 18. He’s handful, good player. You can understand their goal scoring record .. the kind of player that disrupts defences in dangerous areas.

Good head from Fozzy after a delicious cross from Malcolm. (What great feet he has, it would be lovely to keep him if we can, he’s only going to get better as he learns)
I voted for Curtis as POTS because he has been immense as a leader and given everything his 37 year old body has. It couldn’t be anyone else given the circumstances, but Nathan Byrne ? My MOTM today. Mr consistency, no panic, sticks to his task, knows when to push forward and when to play it safe. So much running and skill. Hugely under rated as a player in some quarters. Watson did ok, Sibbo had an effect.

Hate it when we lose but it isn’t the end of the world. There’s a new contest starting, we are preparing and planning. As the Ausies say “She’ll be right and “no worries”  COYR

Meaningless platitudes. Of course none of the squad will say they want to leave  - who in their right minds would openly admit that - until their agents have sourced them a more attractive gig somewhere else - then they will be unable to turn down the once in a lifetime offer of playing for Barnsley.

I think he plays much better on the centre or the right side of midfield. They seem to have been using him in Graeme Shinnie's former position but when Bielek went off he went into his role and seemed much happier. He was class. In fact, he was better than Bielek.

If Bielik is desperate to play at a higher level, I would loan him out, not sell him. Should cover most or all of his wages plus possibly a small loan fee.
We could then have him back if we get promoted.
