The name of Derby County has been radically sullied in the press of late, some of it very unfair. Does the Club have a communications strategy to set the record straight over some of the issues eg how we cheated relegation? How we fixed our accounts? How we sold the ground to ourselves? What we value as a Club eg fairness, community spirited, ambitious. 

It would appear that insufficient due diligence was carried out on the prospective sales to BZI and Erik Alonso.
Who carried out due diligence and what measures have been put in place to ensure that we are not sold to such an unprofessional outfit?

What is your thoughts now on the EFL having been through the last 2y?
Do you think they (EFL) have a vendetta against our club?  (Or more specifically senior leaders in the EFL).
When you speak to other chairman to what extent are they sympathetic toward us?
What are your thoughts on future governance of EFL?

Supporters are aware that the club is very much up for sale, but what is the plan for the next few years should a takeover not come to fruition?

What is our transfer policy going forwards to ensure we can be a successful team on the pitch while still being a sustainable club off the pitch?

Upon completing the sale of the club, will it once again have a stadium that it owns?

Ticket holders details will be held and used for NHS Test and Trace.
Who exactly decides in the event of an attendee later testing positive who else needs to be contacted, and roughly what criteria are used?
Is it distance between seats, turnstile used, stair number etc etc.

That interpretation would be consistent with the tweets that were quoted.
Ordinarily, football ownership probably requires one to chase the rewards of promotion or silverware.
But, as we know from the Bet Aware adverts, it is important to stop gambling when it stops being fun!

I thought Derby could come out of the embargo once the accounts from last 3 years were published?  

What a true gentleman & outstanding leader of our club what he did for us last game of season means everything to me!! I'm sure with out Curtis in them last 10 mins we would of conceded a headed goal with out dout and been relegated!! What a truly wonderful suprise for me and my boys with him coming into our work while on holiday in Devon!! made 2 people very happy on a very busy day. Total  Respect for this man and were lucky to call him a ram!! 
Ps does this mean I'm itk as he not going coaching yet got one more season in him!! I did ban him from dance machine to make sure ok for next year ????

I know this is a crap analogy but I inherited a property when my parents passed away, was very run down and need of serious renovation work, put it on the market no one was interested in it at the price I wanted.....so waiting for a buyer to materialise which never happened I was paying gas, water, electricity, council tax on an empty property straight out of my own pocket.
Eventually decided to pay thousands of pounds to get new kitchen, bathroom, boiler etc put it back on the market for a higher price got a buyer within few weeks BUT I had to offset this against the money I spent on utility bills and renovations otherwise I would have been in the same situation another year down the line.
Surely Morris must see this and realise he has to offset some more of his money to make the club appear a more attractive proposition or be in the same position in 12 months time?

Appreciate we all have views on the Daily Mail or the EFL for that matter but there is never smoke without fire. As I said, we can bury our heads in the sand all we like and just say these articles are rubbish and they have it in for us but I am sorry but these are concerning issues that are not going to go away and the Daily Mail are right to publish them.
My personal opinion is that anyone would be stupid to takeover Derby County. Our club is in an absolute state of a mess. What from the outside would look a great proposition is not so rosy for any potential investor, clearly.
My original post was demanding that the custodians of our club speak to the fans and tell us what is going on. I stand by that and action is already underway to further pursue this. I do hope other fans feel it more so now.
Stephen Pearce and Mel Morris have run this club into the ground. They are responsible for this and owe the fans an explanation.
The next thing we will see is Wayne Rooney walk and I do not blame him.

A reminder of what the EFL are appealing...
The second charge (amortisation) was split up into 5 particulars.

1. The EFL withdraw the first particular,  so nothing to look into.
2. This is not in contradiction to the financial standard FRS102
3. As per the 2nd particular
4. Unreliability in estimating a player's value does not mean the policy contradicts FRS102. 
5. Inadequate disclosure is punishable. As it doesn't impact passing/failing P&S, it is impossible to receive a points penalty against this particular.

Meant to post this yesterday... April 10th 2004. A wretched season very much like this one where not a lot went right.. I remember watching this in a pub and the striker by the name of Manel scored a perfectly good goal at the end but for a linesmans flag! I thought at the end relegation was certain!

27th March 2010..Derby 1 Leicester 0..a wonderful own goal. 
 

Applications are now open, membership is free, you just have to love having a striker that doesn’t end up on his arse every 5 minutes and can piggyback defenders with ease.
