the EFL’s main and manifest objective during the course of our administration was to ensure the club continued as a going concern

Jaffa cakes are neither a cake or a biscuit!! They’re a creation all of their own and deserve to have an isle in every supermarket dedicated solely to them.
Cherry Bakewell Jaffa Cakes are the greatest creation since the combustible engine.
Finally, if you squint, Susan Boyle is actually pretty f****** sexy.
Try it
Made you do it 😁

My controversial view is that a lot of these controversial views are not very controversial.
I don’t think this is either, really.just want to get it off my chest. Indeed, I expect most would agree with me that it is time to retire the pre-match poem. It is too long. It does not help increase the atmosphere or build up to the match. It irritates me when he says “Derby Caanty”. People just ignore it. The bloke who says “it’s in your DNA youth” can do one as well. Such things have become tired. Turn the volume down a bit, allow people to actually speak to each other rather than shout over the PR system and see if the much vaunted and often disappointing South Standers can do what they are supposed to and get the place going (although I have to say there have been some very good atmospheres this season and the SS has been OK… just not often enough - which might be seen as controversial both by those who think the South Stand is great and other who think they don’t do enough. I think they can generate good atmosphere, they just need to do it more often)

Middlesbrough and Wycombe had a right to feel aggrieved

Problem with sending a skilful forward to a league 1 or 2 club is that they spend most of their time on utterly crap pitches. It doesn’t develop their usp

Orsi and Liam Kelly were strong but I don’t think they’d make the step up to the championship. The guy I’d go for from Crawley is Jeremy Kelly - an American who has a fabulous all round game and the athleticism, intelligence and class to match the pace in the championship. He started this evening at LWB (sort of) and ended in the centre of midfield. I’d be talking to his agent now. Looking forward to seeing what he can do at Wembley

Fozzie at CB might be our mvp next year.
the div 2 playoffs are interesting. Some very skilful players looking good despite that they are playing on awful pitches. Crawley likely to get to Wembley but fall at that fence. Orsi might be free and worth a punt. Their US recruit Jeremy Kelly - whose arrival in left midfield in early 2024 marked their change in fortunes - would be a good signing for us.

I think maybe he just needs the right players around him - it’s more to do with that than to do with the level he’s playing at.
I don’t think he’s ever been part of an attacking unit that suits him - not in the first team anyway.

Depends on the contract. Some of them will be automatic based on things like appearances.

Hope so. Most of his career has been in the Championship so would be good to have him about. He still has plenty to offer imo

Love ‘ academy fruitfulness’. (Sounds like John Keats.)
The recent chaos has forced us to pi$$ away the historic value of academy investment but DC seems to support the academy model.
For that model to be successful, the first team ethos needs to be aligned with it and its objectives. Cocu bought into this, it seems. Possibly unrealistic to ask Warne to focus on it in div 1, with such pressure on promotion. But now he’s succeeded in that I’d hope that promoting the academy and its products will form part of his approach. Good coaching of youngsters is a big part of this
