kevinhectoring got a reaction from Leeds Ram in How good is NML
Few players? Piles can make you get up out of your seat

Ok, in the spirit of the season , I withdraw my purple faced call for you to visit spec savers and my vociferous questioning of your knowledge of your parentage ??
Anyway, I think we agree. In summary; he’s class already and can only get better.

Ok VAR is going to give you the benefit of the doubt. In fairness you did say he’s done a great job

Faint praise. Already better than a good keeper. And it’s not as if he’s had a fabulous defence in front of him all season

He has been brilliant. claims his crosses, calm on the ball, reads the game well. He does the goal keeper basics very very well. For the first time in a long time, it's not the keeper where I worry about in our team.

Continues to impress. Not sure what the scope is for contract extensions with the restrictions we’re under but given his age and the strong start to his Derby County career I’d like to see him high on the list for an extension, if and when we can. He can be an asset for the club for a good few years

Had an argument with a bloke in the pub earlier. He told me I don't know anything and that I couldn't even name 3 Qatar players.
I said, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and Slash.

Harsh thread this. He deceives to flatter.
He looks clumsy with the ball at his feet and moves around like a thunderbirds puppet. But he makes plenty of important aerial challenges and so often puts his body in the right place.

Warne just needs to brisket more, chuck it down the flank
Right now it’s medium - too rarely well done

Thought Warne said lots of good things and it’s touching that he has a lot of love for Fozzie.
But he’ll have had a kicking when he got home (at 3am). If you’re going on a break to the beach, DO NOT say ‘I’m taking the dog ... and my wife’. The dog won’t mind

kevinhectoring got a reaction from Ellafella in Portsmouth Vs Derby County: Player Ratings
Wildsmith 7 wouldn’t rule out that he deliberately palmed that ball into space and away from ?bishop
Rooney 6
Stearman 6.5
Forsyth 7
Cashin 7
Smith 6.5
Thompson 6.5 - needs a lesson from Knight about winning free kicks
Barkhuizen 6.5
? 6.5
Hourihane 6.5 Warne will soon have him fitter than he’s been for years
Sibley 6 tough gig Dale was an 8
McGoldrick 7.5 stunning technique for the volley. Just love watching his balance, awareness, silky touch. But it’s sobering to see how much better he is than the rest
Osula 6
Collins 6.5
Dobbin 6

Hey, I wasn't intending to criticise the Steargoat at all. It was really intended to highlight that Warne has finally started to use him.
I think he's been a great squad man in his time here.

It's baffling that Stearman hasn't been selected for the World Cup - a puzzle even more surprising when you look at the defenders who are going. I mean... there are actually some people who believe England will win the tournament with McGuire and Coady in the back line!!!
Anyway, England's loss is Derby County's gain. We should be glad that he remains available to us. It's a major relief to see that Warne now has the confidence, belief and footballing knowledge to play the great man in cup games and even bring him on late in league games.

Agree entirely.
as u say.. there is a player in there.. but that can happen with so many players . That player doesnt develope. Fortunately for louis time is on his side but truth be told he doesnt have any singular outstanding asset that puts him ahead of many in the role for a first team spot.
i mean if everyone is fit and available he isnt starting is he.
i think warne will also look to bring in others that are either more powerful or quicker or that give us more obvious attributes
