Why don’t we accept that CK is the PB and get behind him. Try and engage with him. May be ask some questions about his vision for the club and football related stuff rather than everyone getting their knickers in a twist about tweets from 10 years ago which he had recognised as being inappropriate.

Don’t think a 15 point deduction can be assumed but if we get it I reckon it’ll be next season.
The players’ commitment has been excellent, as you say
But the idea we were down after the deduction is odd. Where would we be if Jags had stayed? Since embargo bit, we’ve had Cashin and Ebiowei race through as serious championship players, Festy has hit the headlines, and Thomson has shown what he’s capable of (though we’ve adopted a style that doesn’t suit him). Morrison has shown his effectiveness when further forward. Where would we be if Lawrence had not seen red? Where would we be if Bielik’s improvement on return had been steeper? Many say the squad is threadbare but posters name at least 16 players in their starting line ups. We’ve got players on the bench other clubs would love to sign.
The away vs home form ? Can’t explain that in terms of points deductions.
True, after the deductions mid table form was never going to be (quite) enough. But we’ve seen what this squad can do and many had expected us still to be in touch very close to the last game. March was terrible

It is beyond pathetic if Q are only now giving a period of exclusivity. They should be at the stage of appointing a PB who is contractually obliged to buy us subject only to EFL approval. BEYOND PATHETIC

Spoke really well but this was the key takeaway for me. He wants the opportunity to build his own squad and bring success to this club over the next 2-3 years. Him and CK seemed to get on and importantly, share the same vision, so if it really is CK, maybe this could be just what we need.

Started OK, winning the 6 pointer vs Barnsley. Haven't kicked on, as has been the case all season.
Can’t get a run going.

Re: the tweets I’ll just add one thing.
Pretty sure I’ve mentioned before that I’ve worked with LGBT community orchestrating events at a venue in the city I live. Whilst I’m not part of the community, and I can’t speak for them, I’ve had quite a few experiences and can take a guess. If there’s one thing that will annoy people who are LGBT as much as the tweets themselves, is that football fans are dragging their community into something using 10 year old tweets from someone they will not care about. I loathe to say it’s the idea of virtue signalling, but this is of no benefit to that community it’s just showing them potentially upsetting material to ‘one up’ against another football team. It’s using them essentially, when people within that community just want to live a normal hassle free life.
Im uncomfortable with the tweets, Im uncomfortable with some stuff he’s been tweeting recently too to be honest. But it can be dealt with by being sincerely apologetic so he can draw a line under it.

Not sure that Nixon is correct - I thought the £5m payment was designed to prevent the PB from walking away once they’d been selected….

Bless you, you still think decision making improves with age, wisdom and experience.
I'm mid 40's, and have been suffering all day from being over-served at a gig last night.
The main difference in ages is being older gives you fewer opportunities to misbehave, and less powers of recovery.

It’s a difficult question whether we’d want take it this season or next.
But we want this decided before the weekend because the uncertainty doesn’t help us on the pitch
