Jubbs got a reaction from RadioactiveWaste in Sky Commentary
The issue isn't women commentators, it's commentators in general. Can anyone honestly tell me what the likes of Don Goodman brings to co-commentary? He's shockingly bad. I can name multiple male commentators who are absolutely awful. Michael Owen at the weekend said he'd watched Illan Meslier play for Leeds academy as a 16 year old and thought he was amazing, he didn't join Leeds until he was 19.
The problem in general is a lack of respect from most commentary teams half the time, don't make the effort to do insightful research. Emma Hayes was absolutely brilliant during the Euro's, providing insights and you could tell she had both knowledge of the game and the teams involved. Ali and George that appear on Sky/Quest sometimes are brilliant too, because the actually do research.

I'd like to see what Emma Hayes could do in the men's game. Would be great if she could make an impact there.
Ali and George are great, as is their podcast. I think football could do with more new media pundits alongside the ex pros.

My question would be is that on "drugs" or do you mean "legal drugs" or do you mean "illegal drugs"? Caffeine is a huge stimulant. Should that be banned? Alcohol is much the most toxic drug people can use and abuse, with the possible exception of heroin depending on how you measure toxicity. Cannabis is only super-strength "skunk" nowadays because of prohibition. When America had prohibition for alcohol, were there exquisite gins and lovely craft beers or were people forced to drink super-strength moonshine? Laced with other toxins as there was no regulation?
People should be allowed the choice if whether they drink coffee, smoke a cigarette, do a line of coke, have a double vodka and tonic or eat a hash cake. It's bonkers and irrational that two of those things are illegal when you compare them with the others. Personal choice, personal responsibility.
Of course I get that people have individual bad stories surrounding illegal drugs, but I would argue this is a lot to do with the organized criminality that surrounds them and the way this destroys lives. It would be a million times better for people to partake in a safe environment, knowing exactly what they are taking.

Jubbs reacted to Carnero in Allsop/ Marshall
Rooney literally said on his rams tv interview that Marshall would be in the squad on Wednesday.
There is no conspiracy, Marshall is just crap.

World class heavyweights tend to have plenty of losses on their record. As is the nature of fighting in heavyweight.

That sums up my frustration with Roos he can't even get sent off with any venom. Billy Sharp should have broken ribs now. Instead Roos limply wafted out a timid leg and got sent off.
He is so feeble for such a big bloke.

Former interested parties are looking to rekindle talks and most want to rejoin the stadium and training ground to the club.

For all the stick Roos gets, he is coming out as one of our better players according to the forum ratings!

Aug '19: Wayne Rooney joins club
Joins? Or agrees to join in January (at the end of his DC United contract)? Joins up with the squad earlier than planned, in November.
Jul '20: Derby capitulate and miss play-offs
8 points off 6th before lockdown, 9 points off at the end of the season.
May '21: Remain in division after Sheff Weds deducted points
This is noteworthy? They were deducted points before the season began
Jul '21: Unable to field team with only nine players available
Well, we certainly had more than that available. Senior players perhaps?
Sep '21: Deducted nine points
When did this happen? ?

Jubbs reacted to mike93rh in Player Ratings #7: vs WBA (a)
The amount of people underrating Sibley and Jozwiak's performances last night is astounding. We set up tactically to miss out of the midfield and go for the draw - and we executed it perfectly. With this kind of set up, your Sibleys and Joz's are on the pitch to relieve pressure and carry the ball wherever they can, which I think they both did very well. They were never going to get chance to get a grip on the midfield or keep the ball for very long (not complaining about this, with our team and the fatigue they must be feeling right now I think Rooney got it spot on).
Nobody gets less than a 7 for me last night, it was a great point.

Jubbs reacted to Carl Sagan in Kelle Roos
I'm constantly perplexed by the opinion of some that Roos is not comfortable with the ball played back to him. To me he's extraordinarily good with his feet. The defenders sometimes make terrible decisions and put him under intense pressure as a result, but he's got great skill with both feet and is pretty unflappable and able to handle it in a way hardly any other Championship keepers would.
And a great shot stopper too.
I think you're right he doesn't command his area properly. With two such experienced central defenders in front of him now, I hope that will improve as they coordinate better between each other.

Noticed he said Rooney bought the drone with his own money. Isn't exactly helping with the "can Mel fund the club for the rest of the season?" question, is it?

Jubbs reacted to angieram in Kelle Roos
Well, one or two do like to mention the other chances they've missed! ?
But I know what you mean. We're usually happy with a striker that takes one in four of his chances, but expect a keeper to save every one.

Jubbs got a reaction from angieram in Kelle Roos
Yeah this is one that really gets me. When a striker scores, we don't not celebrate and say "that's his job" do we? Some people can't bring themselves to praise Roos because they know they're wrong about him.
