Absolutely fantastic game. It’s spot on, with glorious graphics and no micro transactions. 

Limited highlights, I know, but I had two main takeaways...
- Ibrahim looks the business. Believe he’s only 16? Big future for him, would not be shocked to see him involved in the first team properly before too long. 
- Idem is absolutely monstrous. Looks an absolute beast in between the sticks.

Shame to see Martin go, although if this Telegraph article from the end of April was right (it wasn't John Percy so not sure) it's hardly surprising that the club were wary about any new contract offer.

From memory the only players whose contracts 'expired' were Anya, Huddlestone and Martin. If they were pulling in £10m a year between them then..yikes! ?

There-in lies several massive assumptions.
Did he even want to stay? Did we want to give him the 2+1 year deal he got? Does Cocu see him as a "genuinely important player"? How much is he getting paid now?
All of which, the answer lies whether you're in the Martin Man Love Club, or not.

Not that it matters but I could suggest that offering to sign someone on a contract that isn't near 'market rate' is tantamount to 'constructive dismissal'.

Don't buy into "rumours" as a lot of the time these ITK know jack, would you be surprised if he maybe wanted a change of scenery given what has happened over the years, I wouldn't, could sign a deal to find Cocu leaves by Christmas and he's off out on loan again. It has happened, it's just as possible that he wanted to move on, one final deal somewhere else and bow out.
