Srg got a reaction from 1967Ram in Martyn Waghorn
Feel dirty agreeing with you, but you're right. Had a stormer last game of the season, but you could easily argue we wouldn't have needed him to if he hadn't been so tragic all season.

Suggest the week before the season, whichever day. Late as possible to avoid drafting injured guys.

I too believe he should be played a bit deeper in some game to improve our playmaking from deeper positions, especially when the strengths we do have lie in those 3 positions behind the striker with Lawrence, Sibley, Watson, Hutchinson and Jozwiak all able to play there. Stick him next to Shinnie, who can do the donkey work, and I would imagine we would control games more. Obviously, horses for courses based on the opposition.
The change had to be made last night because Watson kept finding himself stood at left back in the first half. He looked confused.

Trying to figure out how much of this is sarcasm.

I make no apologies for wanting him gone. He is easily up there with one of the worst managers I've ever seen at the club and let's face it, the run at the end of the season would have ended him if we could have afforded it. Yes he's fighting, which is commendable to him, but I selfishly think we would be better if he didn't. I don't think his interviews are doing the club a lot of favours.
Hopefully, he proves me wrong and we can claw our way to lower-midtable obscurity and he will deserve a lot of credit for that. However, Best case scenario, for me, is a new owner who replaces him pre-January.

Looks a great talent for his age - we have to remember he's only 17, that's 2 years younger than Festy. It's a lot at that age.
As an aside, the apostrophe in the title is giving me a brain aneurysm.

Good shout. A bit Gary Numan or Billie Joe Armstrong.

Wayne Rooney, after playing Salford, telling us he’s going to bring some pride and dignity to the football club.
What could possibly go wrong.

Think we win that comfortably with Roos and proper centre backs. Stretton doesn’t look ready, but still rather him than signing Baldock. Jozwiak not impressing in a game like that. Hutchinson, Watson and Sibley all very good. Morrison will be a good addition. Ebosele and Williams also impressive. Allsop pretty terrible.
On a side note, not sure what it is about Watson but he’s an odd looking boy. He looks like he wore black nail polish and probably tried out his mums heels and make up as a kid. Ah well, can do what he wants if he keeps impressing.

Would’ve been a seriously good finish that from Sibley. Young lads look alright when we get into their half. Just expecting to concede every time they get near our box.

We don’t have any other players above 6ft on the pitch because Rooney thought we would be able to defend crosses with what we have out there ?

It’s ironic that our former youth coach now managing a League Two club is more qualified than our own Wayne Rooney.

Rooney is an absolute bell. This defence is a joke, every single cross into the box is a chance to score because we have no one on the pitch who can head a ball whatsoever. What did he expect? He probably didn’t expect because he’s absolutely useless.
