When can a thread be started about

"How are we possibly going to get all these new signings to gel as a team , if we are not top two from day one of the season , Warne out !! "

You jest but the same posters who are claiming Warne can’t attract players will be the same ones making this thread in a month’s time after we’ve made numerous signings.

Just use whatever they can to justify their pre-conceived opinions of Warne.

There is no link, It's all from those who could be ITK, Twitter rumours, Nixon Rumours, Someone knows someone who told them, Someone saw a player down B n Q, When DCFC release the said names of players who have signed then it will be confirmed and links posted.

There is one for this one. Pete O’Rouke who’s an actual journalist.

Get mobile, pacier defenders around him, then I'm OK with it. I imagine the combo of him and Cashin against pace would be disastrous. When you think we had Chester and stearman, he would improve our options.

Would take him as a 3 option. Be pretty deadly if you’re chasing games and getting a lot of set pieces.

It's sometimes got a whiff of entitlement to it in my view. Every time any player that has been tenuously connected with us looks like they are off somewhere else there's people (not just in here, but amongst our fans in general) pouncing on it like there wont be any players left by the end of June, and that Derby have some divine right to be front of the queue at this level purely because we are Derby.

Doesn't work like that. Of course I would love to see new players coming in that fit the bill as quickly as possible, but we've all been following Derby long enough to know it's never that simple and never will be.

It's the same whiff from those talking about style of play.

according to my random googling he needs to add goals and assists (0 of either) plus maybe a bit of bite (0 cards) in 33 appearances as a striker for shrews last season.

looks like it was mainly off the bench, didn't even total 1000 minutes.

We will see - but I do concede that there is a marked difference between Rooney (and probably Rosenior) and Warne. Not to say Warne isn't a manager held in high esteem, because he is (relatively), but I made a comment on Haydon Roberts that the club, all things being equal financially, probably could've and should've won that signing.

It's still very early days so let's see how it plays out - it will be important for Clowes to see how the people he's hired are selling the club. It's all a learning experience for him at the moment. If we aren't able to compete and it's not financial and for no good reason then it's something we need to look into - the standards of the club will continue to be raised (I'm sure) as we come out of this grace period from nearly going extinct.

Personally don't see the problem. We've had the name manager multiple times over the past decade and it got us precisely absolutely nowhere.

Now, there's no evidence over who Warne can and can't attract right now, but for arguments sake, let's say he can't pull in big names... so? How about we get a team that wants to be here to work and fight for the shirt. How refreshing that might be.

Not many rumours in here. So…

Chatting to my old mate with a shopping trolley and a talkative garden gnome last night.

Neither had seen a list but both had heard Tom Bloxham was on it. Leicester lad playing in a Steve Cotterell farmers XI at Shrewsbury. Tall, mobile and can play as a 9 or 10. Seen as a good foil for Alfie May and / or Sibbers. Needs to add goals to his game but Warne believes that is possible.

The only downside is he’s an ex public schoolboy like the much beloved Will Hughes, so local newsagents could be in for a hard time 😧

Well that's up with the most random shouts I've heard.
