With clubs losing money week in week out, maybe its time to make a simple EFL rule. If a trading loss is declared (ie cash in v cash out) then its an immediate points deduction and business plan imposed.
Also at EFL level and premier league level and immediate salary cap, removal of parachute payments and all contracts to have relegation clauses identifying lower wage levels until the end of the contract if relegated to championship or lower.

And they still haven't fully paid the fine the EFL gave them for breaking FFP the season they beat us at Wrmbley.
Been treated very kindly in comparison to us, imo.

Scarey figures from QPR - they've lost money every year since 1996......and despite spending nothing on signings last year, they managed to lose over £20M. You'd think that clubs would learn from what happened to us but I guess some just think it won't happen to them....

As a former Ossie-Ender, and now in the NE Corner, so effectively the NS, I see our fan rivalry with the southern half of the East Stand.
We even have our own little fan-rival song going on... you've no doubt heard it...
"North Stand (East South East), North Stand (East South East), North Stand (East South East), North Stand (East South East)..."
Great bantz, to be fair.  It can go on for whole minutes, sometimes!
We just view the SS as nothing more than ye olde Normo End of the BBG.  We hardly even notice those behind the opposite goal, if truth be told.

Leonard has had 3 goals and two assists in @830 mins of football this season and at Championship level too. That's a goal contribution every 170 minutes or so which ain't shabby, though I concede I know nothing of him first hand.
Promising as Dajaune is, he's only started one game for Gateshead as yet. He deserves a chance to acclimatise to men's football in a slightly less pressure-cooker-type environment than he'd experience in our men's team right now. Also, Collo was not injured at the time and would have been the starting at 9 more games than not.

Don’t disagree but with Waggy and Wash (as Warne likes to call them), nearly ready for game time, it’s likely the next 3-4 weeks most critical, as I expect both those pair will come back and play a bigger part in the games towards the back end of next month and into April.
Daft as it sounds, they probably all could be good for 30 minutes in any game, but expecting 90 minutes might be pushing it until the last few matches.

“If we lose Bird “? He’s gone . Gayle is the talking point now . Newcastle fans say - He has hamstrings like violin strings . We will have to be very careful with him or he will be joining the crew in the treatment room .

I think it depends which league we are in - as well as which manager will be in charge for next season as they may want totally different types of players

When Owen Bradley commented when Sibley came on, that he hadn't scored at home for two years you knew it was inevitable he would. Great finish.

It could be argued that he was tactically aware.
Football is now a game consisting of 15 outfield players, 10 starting and up to 5 'finishers'. There are some games where you need to tough it out against a physical opposition before bringing on your more lightweight players. Sibley and Smith played key roles in the goal, had they started the game, they probably would have been battered into submission.
Statistics seem to back up this theory, Derby substitutes have scored more goals than any other team in this league.
In rugby union when England were at their peak, they would bring on their 'finishers' in the second half, players that were arguably better than those they replaced.

Well I’d say Adams has been a good addition to the squad even if we will lose Bird at the end of the season due to him wanting a different challenge next season  . That one really hurts as I think he’s a great lad and a fabulous footballer.
Very upset for James Collins and the Derby fans that he’s out for a while but  all the best to him with his recovery.
As regards the original point of the question I would say on reflection Warne was right to add to midfield but it could be difficult without James but we won yesterday so let’s hope we can get promoted with what we have and hopefully Dwight Gayle .
End of the day let’s all as Derby fans stick together and hope we do it.

PS  Never write players off as Sonny Bradley was brilliant yesterday

I think even you would admit I've been pretty consistent with my views win lose or draw.
The standards of the club really must have fallen then if you think setting up so negatively and having 2 shots on goal in a 3rd division home game against stevenage isn't a bit embarrassing.

Oh come on. Even the most adamant warne fans would have to admit Mcgoldrick carried the team and warne last season.
You cant seriously believe warne was responsible for how good McGoldrick was.
    Why was he unfancied?
Do you think McGoldrick having such a good season was maybe down to the fact he was now playing against far worse teams than he had done for years?
He was playing in the premier league 18 months before joining us.

I never said their form was good. The original post said they have one of, if not the best away form in the league. If the best in the league can only manage 3 games unbeaten, or 5 out of 10 wins. It absolutely proves how poor the league is.

Was there a lesson to be learned at PP today?
The crowd really seemed to step it up mid way through the second half and the team seemed to respond, maybe we have a role to play in the run in?
