"Imminent" was clearly a mistake. Nevertheless, I sincerely doubt that Administrators would "panic".
Moreover, surely they cannot state there has been other bids if that isn't the case. Presumably, Administrators operate within rules and regulations that would prevent such 'behaviour'.

If these claims do go to Arbitration, whether a LAP as per EFL rules or via the English Courts, the attempts the parties have made to settle the dispute by other means SHOULD have an influence. 
IF the Administrators have genuinely been trying to reach a "no blame" settlement with the two clubs, but have been rebuffed unreasonably, that ought to count in Derby's favour if the tribunal decides that the two claimants have rejected reasonable offers. The Courts nowadays take a dim view of litigants who refuse alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation and I would hope that principle would apply in this case. 

I'm glad more is being said in the media about these two obnoxious chancers - we need the media to call out their vile behaviours.

Come on people a deal will  be done just dont panic and I do feel a take over will be done soon.

2021 hasn't been easy for a lot of people, even tougher for us Derby County fans that have had to endure and will continue to do so the sleepless nights with the unthinkable, the threat of our club facing possible liquidation. 
I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year, without you, this community would not be here, the community that has allowed fans from not just around the country, but the world to come together and help each other through these difficult times and I'm sure will continue to do so through next year and beyond.
For any players, management, staff, anyone connected to the club that may also be reading this, Happy New Year to you also, I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure many others will agree, you are all making us so proud to be a Ram, we cannot ask anymore from you.
Let's all go and smash 2022 ?
 

We are not entitled to know anything what is going on irrespective of what people think we should be told. 

I'm not down in the dumps,if we are saved great,if we are liquidated my view will be the administrators did their best,others on here will be clamouring for blood saying they didn't do their job properly.

And you can guarantee that if they get the mid-season break that they all so desperately want, they will immediately arrange foreign tours to generate more revenue…..
If the clubs at the top are struggling to play so many games they are absolutely welcome to resign from the Champions League….

I know it seems a long way into the season but... we have to let him settle in and find his home, which for him takes longer than most.
I think its telling that he's now played more games for us than he has for any other perm move in his career, and the only other time being a loan spell at Brum back in 2013. 
I think he's starring to settle in and actually enjoys being here from his social media etc. 
I hope for his sake, he stays and becomes part of whatever squad we have in the future.

He deserves every plaudit he gets from Derby fans & the media. 6 months of the most ballsy leadership I've seen from any manager of a club at this level.
Really want some praise directed to Liam Rosenior also though. I think there's a very sharp managerial duo developing there out of the shambolic press conference last October after Cocu left. Very articulate guy & was an outstanding pundit on Sky before he took the plunge with us. Further ahead of Wayne in his coaching credentials I believe so he'll be leant on from a tactics perspective. Different character to Rooney but I think there's a real brains trust driving us to respectability on the field.

I beg we never spend big money on a player again. This team and the QPR play off final team made for peanuts and are great to watch for different reasons.
Also even if we don’t stay up I hope we ruin as many other teams play off dreams as we can! ?

I wouldn't be too concerned about the quietness of remaining parties as well as the admin team regarding the preferred bidder, it's called professionalism (however I as well would like to see some movement very soon).
Let's be honest we wouldn't even know about the Chris "Like, Share & Subscribe" Kirchner bid and his withdrawal had it not plastered it all over Twitter.
The admins came out ASAP and nipped in the bud any media sensationalism who probably would have alluded to that we're finished as a football club and/or the admin team are farting around based just on Kirchner withdrawal tweet, when the reality is he got out bid, took his toys and went home.

Counter scenario: the bidders and the admins are holding announcing who they are until a preferred bidder is selected. 
I would imagine the vast majority of those involved would prefer to negotiate quietly and make an announcement once the real details are resolved. 
Kirchner broke the norm by coming out with his bid, but the reality is he was no closer to owning the club than any of us. Then he throws his toys out the pram when he didn't get it all his way. 
The analogy on here seems to compare the deal to buying a house. A house purchase can easily take 9 months if complex but people expect a multi-company insolvency transaction with non-valued assets to be done in less than 3 months? 

They aren't spinning anything and don't forget they don't have to keep us informed of anything.

The admin team said Kirchner’s bid had been below other bids (plural).
They also said that after Kirchner’s hissy fit another bidder has raised their bid, so higher still.
They are professional people , they won’t be lying.

Appleby and Gadsby haven’t teamed up.  Confirmed by Appleby himself. Jez Moxey works with Appleby. They are acting for a bidder we don’t know. It’s Appleby and Gadsby the two remaining bidders. 
 
You really think if Kirchner hasn’t been outbid they would have gone on Talksport and made those statements. They would have either gone radio silent or we would now be hearing noises about fire sales, possibility of liquidation as the admins become desperate for someone else to step into the breach or for help from the creditors. Krasner was all over the radio during Wigan’s admin making those statements. 
 
We may reach that point but we are absolutely not there yet. 

I've worked around property deals for a long time, the amount of times Ive been told a lease or sale would be signed the folliwing day, only for it to wait another 2 - 3 weeks, alsorts of things can hold deals up.
Dont forget we are dealing with HMRC here, civil servants, who don't do urgent.....
There's also Mel, MSD, Creditors, EFL, banks, Appleby's investors, think it obvious he will if anyone be the one....

I agree not everybody "bogs off for 10 days", just because no announcement has been made doesn't mean to say the administrators have been sitting there with their feet up eating mince pies,there will still be plenty of work to do behind the scenes. Exiting administration is not like an auction where the highest bidder wins, the administrators will accept a "winning bid" which is going to be the best outcome for creditors not the club.

Unless they genuinely thought an announcement could be made within a day or two then the administrator probably shouldn’t have used the word imminently. Not a wise use of words but I wouldn’t quite describe it as a farce as some others have.

How dare they not progress to completion of agreeing a preferred bidder on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or two subsequent bank holiday days.

Proud of this team, any other over the last 7 years with the fight this lot had we’d of been a premier club, I won’t ever forgive Mel for the mess he’s left us in but he did do one thing very well and that’s help this academy come very very far! Also it may not be true but any new ownership looking from the outside in thinking of replacing Rooney and co when they come in would be making a big big mistake! I didn’t want him when Cocu left like most but he deserves praise and big praise 

It’ll be some achievement if he just gets us off the bottom of the table and that is starting to be achievable.
