I was at the game also and after standing the whole game, my hip has been agony today. I used to love to stand on the Popside and at away games, but now it can be a struggle. My heart goes out to those with small children or who are infirm.
One possible solution the club could come up with, is to designate the first few rows of away tickets as strictly 'sitting only'. I know that these aren't the best seats to have and that the view isn't great, but it would give those people who are suffering at the moment, a choice of continuing to suffer or to sit down, even with the compromises. You could try having a seating block, but I don't that would work, as you would get a border between the 2 sections where those sitting down would have their view blocked to the side.
The more boisterous element won't want these lower seats, so there shouldn't be an issue there.

was hit on the head by an object thrown by the Coventry fans yesterday , luckily no treatment needed, stewards not interested , left the ground after the match , Coventry fans everywhere looking for trouble , myself and my mates grew up in the eighties so yesterday was nothing compared to then , but the half dozen Cov fans who decided they were tough enough to try it on with us and spitting and kicking their chosen attack method were quicklly despatched by us with the minimum of fuss , no i am not proud of it but neither can we stand back and be spat on . and in relation to earlier posts we dont wear Stone Island

If Newcastle offer him the job then he'll go. He has boundless self belief and won't expect to fail. If he gets the opportunity to manage a club with the resources to build a Premier League winning team, he will obviously take it.
I do think it's very unlikely that he'll get offered it though. They will most likely go for someone with a more impressive management CV. The only worry is they might be impressed by his name and take the risk anyway.
