I agree with most of that but he has been our most potent attacking outlet this season, probably the lack of other attacking threat in the team does tend to flatter this situation somewhat.
He is also the club captain which again is a pivotal role in the team and presumably Rooney gave it to him for leadership qualities which he saw in Lawrence.
All of the above makes his non availability to the club during a crucial phase down to what basically was his own petulance pretty unacceptable. 

That would equate to Top 3 form. Not impossible but unlikely and something has to start changing soon

Not sure he's written anything off - just handed over day-to-day running to the trustees. Suspect his main motive is to ensure he doesn't lose £1.5BN.....

It does make me chuckle to purposely pull someone up for making factually incorrect statements when this forum is littered with subjective opinion and ITK bullpoo.
You'd be a very busy man if you were applying that rigour to all of the other posts which fell under that umbrella.

Just got back from the match. Fans were superb again. Youngsters were well behaved and loud.Feel sorry for the ones who have never seen the glory days.We had very little attacking threat. Going to be a long run-in.
