You only have to look at the sheer number of comedians, actors/actressess, tv shows, movies, cartoon characters, etc that are being cancelled on a daily basis to see that as a society we're in a crisis atm.  Its going to get much worse before it gets better.

Derby College are going back in tomorrow. All students were asked to have covid tests on Friday and today.
In my lad's class of 13, only him and one other have taken tests. Absolute waste of time.

This made me think about signings in particular, and I realised we haven't really had decent recruitment since Clough. I remeber at the time people bemoaning his loyalty to his back room staff, that they weren't at this level, and his brother as head of recruitment. But I honestly can't think of any signings since that compare with the likes of Martin, Bryson, Russell, Keogh, Eustace for longevity and effecriveness. Even Mac's success was built around Clough's signings, and any other memorable players we've had in the intervening years have come from the academy.

Now I don't want to wee on anyone's fireworks but let's face it, CKR is a pretty limited footballer. Sure he holds the ball up well and his attitude is terrific but as a striker he is slow, not great at heading for goal and is often subdued by good defending. 
Had that ball not been blasted into his chest against Forest, we would be talking about a second successive disappointing game by him. 
The dreadful dearth of centre forwards at the club has elevated him to folk hero status. 
He leads the line well and is great to have 'in the trenches' but we will need better to launch a challenge next season. 

Yes I've had this many a time when I've been out running. Running towards groups of families I guess walking abreast who then refuse to fall in behind one another so I either have to run into the road or on a muddy piece of land. It's not like I'm coming up behind them unawares. I don't expect them to dive into the nearest bush but I'm hardly Usain Bolt so they have more than ample time to give way. It's just rudeness in the extreme.  

Adorn yourself with one of these bud and I'm sure they'll clear out of the way. You'll be observing facemask directives too which I know is something close to your heart.

I thought the idea was picking a team of our current squad based on performances in a Derby shirt. But then that's just me.

I've just seen the BBC article about the online racist abuse directed towards CKR. Someone needs to take these people to task and stop pussy footing around the matter and the culprits given a significant custodial sentence rather than a suspended one with 150 hours of community service. Really it a vile disease which needs to be eradicated.
 

Imagine having the state of mind where you honestly believe there is nothing wrong in posting this bile on the Internet. 
You can’t reason with a sick mind, or can you ? Can these people ever get to see the error of their ways ? And that’s a genuine question because I don’t know if these people are capable of regret or shame. ☹️

If they're a tenant then you should contact their landlord to complain, if not then as previously suggested contact your local council. If you've tried to reason with them then you quite rightly should escalate it now.
I would keep notes of all the times and dates and occurrences of the noise pollution as evidence so the council have something to work on rather than heresay.
Just one word of advice, before you do the above I would casually inform your neighbour that if the situation isn't addressed then you'll be forced to take this course of action, not as a threat but to give them fair advance if what's coming as things could start to become even more unpleasant after that.

Need some advice about my next door neighbour. I've tried talking to them without any success, they're some of the rudest people I've come across.  Their lack of respect and courtesy is really awful. In normal times I wouldn't be bothered, people are allowed to have fun and play their music at a weekend. I wouldn't be stuck in the house all the time and neither would they. It's frustrating for everyone. I can't get my head around why they would blast music out to the early hours though when everybody is stuck at home. If the social distancing wasnt in place, I'd ask the neighbour next to them if they have any issues with this. It's driving me nuts. A lack of understanding for everyone else who had to adhere to these rules too.
I hate confrontation at the best of times, I've tried my best to keep the peace. They're a right nightmare though.

Isn't that what they call a grass cutter? Apart from it being scuffed and bobbled yer it was a real screamer. 

There seems to be a increasing ever growing unacceptable trend of posting racist tweets - over the past week Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Reece James and Romaine Sawyers all being the target of abuse. 
Glad to see that one culprit has already been arrested - saddens me that people actually believe that this level of abuse is acceptable and also that the social media platforms don't seem to be doing enough pro actively to stop this vile filth being posted in the first place.
