I hate Leeds as much as every Derby fan (possibly even more so having left Derby for West Yorkshire in 1987 and having lived amongst Leeds supporters ever since), but if they put in a serious offer, Knight would be mad to turn it down. He's exactly the kind of player the Leeds fans would take to, and it would increase his profile massively. I'd be upset to lose a player like him, but it's happened so many times over the years, and will always happen, to every club.
Plus the transfer money could be put to good use. We desperately need lots of players through the door, and a decent fee should fund a few incoming players.
Time for a new chapter everybody, we've just got to embrace it.

That Dwayne Holmes chap seems to have done OK since leaving for Huddersfield, and I for one will be hoping he has a storming game today ?.

Stop setting up these ridiculous fan parks in host cities for fans travelling without tickets. It's almost like they are encouraging trouble. Is it Uefa, or the host cities looking to benefit from extra income?
Don't understand why the teams involved in a final don't set up fan parks back in their own cities. If Liverpool had opened Anfield up last night, how many fans would not have travelled?

No doubt Alan Nixon will already have been briefed on the outcome of today's meeting!
What time do we expect his update?

    Agreed.
After they knocked us out of the FA Cup in the quarter final replay, way back, with that goal scored straight from a corner, me and my mate went to Villa Park to support them in the semi final.
Wore our Derby shirts and Plymouth hats. Their Green Army were brilliant to us. Even though they lost, it was a brilliant day out.
Shame their ground bears no resemblance to what it was. The first leg of that quarter final was mad. To this day I still can't believe how many Rams fans went all that way. It was crazy!

The same Burk that had a team fully motivated and on an incredible high after 'that' second half against Leeds, yet somehow sent out a team that looked like they'd never played together before.
Me wonders if his mind was on matters elsewhere ?

Despite the issues with Marriot that I won't deny, he'd just got the very best out of him just a few days earlier. What would Marriot have thought about being benched after that performance?
As for being the poster boy at Everton, I give him till Christmas. He'll be found out soon enough.

But as someone mentioned yesterday, although I think the poster was speculating, how much, if any, of our income will go towards paying off creditors in this 35% over 2 years scenario.
I very much doubt that just because we will have one of the largest incomes next year it means we will be one of the biggest spenders.

Personally I'd like him to stay, but if not, and he was to go out on loan to a club in a higher league (or even foreign league), couldn't we make it a 6 month loan?
That would take him up to the World Cup, after which, if he remains fit, and if he stays in the Polish squad / team and has a good World Cup, his value could well be at it's highest, and we'd stand a good chance of selling him with further 18 months on his contract.
There are always Championship clubs looking to get promoted, and Premier League clubs looking to survive, who are likely to spend some money in the January transfer window.

Unfortunately, technically, he didn't do that much wrong. What Lawrence (and indeed Bennett) did was much worse, but he appears to have been forgiven by many.
Keogh made a grave misjudgement, and yes he should have known better. He then won a court case against the club, so in the eyes of the law he was wrongly treated.
What the others did still beggars belief.
Only when all of those involved in the incident have left can we finally put it to bed. I will be sad to see Lawrence 'the player' leave (as I was to see Keogh 'tge player' leave), but I'd be happy to start under a new ownership with a fully clean slate for all.

I'm pretty sure there'll be a special moment or two next Saturday to throw into the mix as well.
For me, currently it has to be Bielik's equaliser vs Brum. Absolute scenes all round when that went in. If he isn't here next season, he will always be remembered for that goal. No other moment could have better summed up the 'Fight to the end' spirit.
