CBRammette got a reaction from Zag zig in Derby v Cheltenham (A) Match Thread
You mirror my feelings exactly. What the heck was that post-match interview? Thought DD pressed him well. All the youngsters will be gone and we'll be left with a team of PW no-skills journeymen.

Not bringing on Sibley in that game tells you everything you need to know about PW.

It was a genuinely lovely moment that just seemed totally right - as you say very moving. I was surprised when I saw play had naturally stopped and officials and our opponents also clapping.

I know. I love it when a bout of "playing-it-on -the-floor-itis" breaks out. It was very contagious and everyone seemed to have been affected!

CBRammette reacted to Geriatram in Its like Clough all over again...... Bored Stiff Today!
I remember the chant going round the ground, clough clough we've had enough, that wasn't Nigel it was Brian. And thinking about it I would estimate in my 68years of watching and loving the Rams I have seen them play over 2000 times, and Saturday certainly wasn't the worst I've seen by a long way.

Quickly twigged the applause was starting, and a quick glance at the clock (showing 31 mins) confirmed my suspicions, thanks to @CBRammette's related post on here yesterday, so quickly stood to join the masses.
I soon noticed that play had stopped, and that players (of both sides) were joining in... as well as the benches and even the officials too.
The only thing I didn't notice was when/how the game stopped?
Was it an official signal from the ref?
Was it a case of the ball going out of touch (or becoming dead due to a foul etc) by coincidence, and then a deliberate act to not immediately restart?
It matters not, of course... am merely curious. 🤷♂️
Either way, as already stated, it was most moving, and for want of a more appropriate phrase under such sad circumstances, rather magnificent.

CBRammette reacted to Ellafella in Derby County v Cambridge Utd: Player Ratings
It was a beautiful tribute, and big credit to Cambridge fans & staff who joined in. Nothing ever cushions the blow of loss but the shared acknowledgement is a great support.

Bearing in mind performances yesterday, may have been better to just play it

Not me but was muted and couldnt tell if at officials. Seems at odds with lots of singing of "pw's barmy army" 🤷♀️

Well this is my local Derby. Please Derby just do it for me just this once please hammer them so I can accidentally leave my Derby mug in the kitchen at work on Monday and just stroll around coolly saying morning to the "Us" with a smug knowing smile. COYR 🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏
