It sucks because the football sucks. I've been to 3 home league games this season and every time there has been a scintilla of excitement and/or hope for a decent result, it's led to a good atmosphere. At Portsmouth the few times we did get forward, i thought it was obvious the fans were almost frothing at the mouth.

Anyone reading the text receipts the investigations have found must admit that he's guilty of extremely troubling and horrible behaviour at the very least. It would not surprise me at all if his behaviour breached a criminal threshold. The investigations are thorough and have taken a long time to develop and I trust the journalists on them. I'm glad they've published the material and hopefully proceedings, either civil or criminal, will begin against this odious man.

I would have loved the Warnock of 10 years ago but not now. I'm also not overly sold on Moore tbh. He's done well wherever he's been but the style for Wednesday wasn't exactly great. I think we need someone who plays good football, on the floor and can commit to a project i.e., a rosenior with perhaps a bit more experience. My feeling is the ability to attract such a manager is going to be difficult. 

I didn't want Rooney around to begin with, but changed my mind as he developed. My concern with Warne is that we appear to be moving backwards. We look more dangerous from set pieces, and when we do move the ball quickly and in wide areas we do look dangerous. The problem is this isn't done often enough, and we're too reliant upon those aspects of our play to create chances consistently.

First half was appalling. We were so defensive, so weak, and lacked any confidence. We were there for the taking, and it was absolutely embarrassing. We let Portsmouth run the game and made it their home fixture. We lacked any foot on the ball, any initiative, any inventiveness and anything beyond being compact and praying we didn't concede. 
The second half when Collins, Sibley and Bark came on we pushed about 10 yards further forward and actually looked dangerous. We got our goal and then as soon as we did we became a defensive unit and obviously conceded. I'm not sure when Warne will learn about this or change the f****** system to suit the players we do have. All I can say is i am f****** fed up week in week out of seeing the same s*** from this amateur.

Football is generally cyclical, which generally means we'll be back. However, I believe we are perhaps the club with the worst record in the country for messing things up. I remember years ago reading a piece in the Times which said we had a special prize for missing chances to succeed from Clough onwards. Some may call it the 'gypsy curse' from the Racecourse Ground but there is something about us which leads us to spurning glorious opportunities for success. 
However, a club our size will not be kept down and out forever. We will get another run at the top flight in the next two decades of that I am sure. Eventually, we will stumble upon the correct combination at the right time and get back to where we belong.

I mean it's not supposition that the club was in severe financial distress before administration happened. That's just a fact we all now know about. I admit the rest is a debate predicated upon certain things we are cannot be sure about. I've made my view clear and I totally accept that not everyone shares in that view 🙂 

I'm feeling confident for this one for some reason. Either that, or I'm just excited as it's my first game since Oxford this season! 

I would have walked out the club if I disagreed that badly with what Mel has done and let the local media know what was going on.  I wouldn't have misled the fans, gone along with the media strategy that everything was hunky dory until administration was abruptly announced or let it meltdown on my watch like Pearce did. I have in the past walked away from the potential for paid work because I have disagreed with the ethos of the employers so I have some experience in making the calculation between a pay cheque and my moral compass albeit on a much lower level.
