Filled the holes with wood PVA, slapped that Velcro on which was a huge shout by @Rev as it's holding it by itself. The screws haven't taken at all.
Tight old fit it is, which is why it got pulled off in the first place I think but feels solid now.
Would never have thought about using Velcro of all things.

Could have written this myself. I can take Derby not playing very well, I can almost take poor officials, but play acting and time wasting absolutely infuriates me. I don’t go to sit there fuming, it’s not very healthy. I don’t watch the premiership anymore either. 

This and the Ipswich game have pushed me over the edge. As soon as the opposition score a goal they go into this cheating (? No not technically but it should be) mode. You might as well go home at that point, because you know what the next 87, 65, 40, 35, 20, 10* minutes are going to involve.

any player that rolls back onto the pitch while ‘injured’ is obviously not injured and should be sent off.

Playing the ball in and around the corner flag, whilst keeping... or attempting to keep... it in play is neither cheating, nor time wasting. 
Same goes for tippy-tapping along the back line around the 18 yrd box.  It's 100% down to the oppo to win the ball back.
I'm very very tempted to say it ain't even gamesmanship either, but would be happy to listen to opinions on that score.

As I am sure you are all aware, there were two extremely serious injuries yesterday to their gallant numbers 22 and 33.
It was heartbreaking to see the 33 crawl pitifully back on to the pitch so he could reach a teammate and whisper his last words to pass on to his wife and children. The number 22 had a serious head injury requiring extensive physio work on his leg and again only the miraculous intervention of the highly trained medical staff delayed serious harm.
However, a friend of mine who works at the Royal, has reported that neither is likely to make it through another night. Can we please come together as a football family to pray hard for these brave warriors - real men - who gave so much to the game that we all love. 

Whether it's us or the opposition, the time wasting diving and play-acting does my head in to the point I'm on the verge of giving up on football altogether. Just got rid of Sky and BT sports for that reason. It has to be got out of the game somehow. I can't be bothered watching as a neutral any more.

It’s just boring. Turns a match from an interactive, exciting, absorbing and entertaining experience into a borefest. 
I go to watch football, not play acting. 

Plan A worked beautifully up to the point someone needed to show some composure in the box. Cannot lay that at the manager's door, for the life of me.

Crap where it mattered, dominant against a crap side everywhere else.

Blame the manager, tactics, the lineup, referee, time wasting, atmosphere and no chips in the East Stand, when you have 28 shots and score just 1 goal, either you have not been good enough or the keeper has had a worldy of a game.

This thread has a sad inevitability about it.
Whether it's now, tomorrow, next week, next year or whenever, half of the fans will say that he was never suitable and they said all along that he should go, and the other half will still be defending him.
I know that this is modern day football in a nutshell but wasn't it nice last year when these kind of debates didn't happen, everybody was pulling in the same direction and just being supporters in its purest sense.
