    What if there's no right back better than Smith available out of contract, or their club would release?
    The prospect of Shinnie II doesn't leave me doing cartwheels, but an extra solid pro with a love of the club and an appetite for the game couldn't hurt.

    We have a great defensive record, why change it mid way?

    CB can wait till the summer. It’s not like we don’t have cover in that position albeit aging and out of contract in the summer, so best to hold on and focus on a winger, CF and RB.
