MaltRam reacted to Yani P in Bournemouth (H) Matchday Thread
Those who follow the goal scoring timings might have thought it was ok to nip out for a slash during the 61-75 minute timeframe as no goal had been scored by any team in that timeframe in our matches this season...Tom breaks the trend..

Absolutely no need to pick any fault with anything today. The perfect performance doesn't happen, especially not in our situation.
We played a top side at this level, matched them, bettered them, and deserved the points on a fantastic afternoon of thoroughly enjoyable football.
If the choice is stay up or get relegated, I'll choose staying up, but I can't say I'm all that bothered either way, so long as I get to be entertained like that. Commitment, energy, guts, skill, goals, strength...brilliant.
Well done Derby, and well done Wayne and the staff.

MaltRam reacted to Brammie Steve in Wayne Rooney
I’m twice Wayne’s age.
Never achieved a fraction of the success he has already had in his career.
Never had to face the kind of relentless pressure he has faced in the past twelve months.
Rarely had to face the managerial responsibility he has to face.
Never in the glare of the world’s press.
And all whilst knowing that he could walk away with his head held high at any time.
Thank you Mr Rooney.
Yours respectfully
Steve

The reaction at the end of the first game following the announcement about administration was a thing of beauty and reminded me why I love being a football fan so much.
Cant say I love football too much right now though. I'd say pretty much every change in the last 30 years has made the game worse and made me dislike it a little more...Premier League, Champions League, FFP, VAR, rule changes...I dont think there has been a positive change for the game since the abolition of back passes.

Everyone should end their links with Efl. Anyone who sponsors Efl should be boycotted.

This episode has had two effects on me. Firstly increased my loyalty and love for DCFC and the sport, and secondly cystallised my loathing of football administration, organisation and competitions.
Conflicting.
If I could renew for next season now, I would. If I could flick a switch and give the entire staff of FIFA, UEFA, FA, EPL, EFL and all foreign leagues a dose of incurable, desquamating genital herpes, I'd do that also.
We'll be suffering this for another 18 months, if we can get a buyer, by the time the ridiculous restrictions are lifted. 4 years of limbo, all told? Worthy of a banana republic.
Oh well. Up the Rams.

We wouldn't have bought Johnson and Butterfield had the injuries not occurred. Which was clearly designed to maintain the strength of the squad, but which undoubtedly contributed materially to the massive overspend and arguably was the beginning of all our issues.
