Agree with the above. What cost us promotion last season though was not converting the myriad of chances created. Warne knows we need a Sharp type player, only time will tell if it is him or Godden/ Smith etc.

‘Hate’……. Can anyone say that about an individual they know nothing about B4 really? I doubt for a moment you do ‘hate’ the man. He’s a professional footballer who has done his utmost for his club Sheffield United. They are his employer. There’s a great deal in the press that is utter nonsense too.
I can’t see it happening but if it did I’d wish him well in our colours of course, as any Ram should. Sadly every club has an element of vile support who see fit to resort to chants that put me off any game. I’ve heard some over the years and you do hear on the terraces or travelling to /from games that is sickening. Today’s society sadly.

I was saying that ,for me,Collins,when playing as a centre forward.is the focal point of the attack.I don't intend analysing his abilities as there are sufficient "fans on the forums constantly ready to demean him for what he can or can't do.Brian Clough always used to say if you don't like a player then criticise me because I bought him! In that respect I always consider that Liam Rosenior got off rather lightly because he "spoke well"
Anyway,back to Godden. If he comes,great,if not,so be it! Money from Knight's impending sale might now allow us to chase Nombe from Exeter or Clarke-Harris from Peterborough.Exciting times and such a refreshing change from a year ago.
