What is an acceptable bid though? It isnt really CK's as Q have been saying all along their preferred outcome was to bring the club and stadium back together through the administrative sale. Q in my view have only picked CK as preferred bidder because an impasse had been reached where no deal was ever likely to arise that would have been good enough to see off Morris and get the stadium back in the club's hands. I dont think buying the club on its own was attractive to Ashley or Appleby. For this reason, I am holding my nose on the proposed deal, as I am far from convinced CK is the right custodian, and I really didnt want Morris continuing to be Landlord for an asset that should, and always should be, the club's.

No ,I got your point ok thanks. I just think it’s a bit pathetic of these social media “trolls” to go back so far in time and try and instil their “woke”narrative into every aspect of modern day life. If he made it “disappear before all this” ,as you say, he’d make it appear that he knew he was in the wrong.He’s obviously been told by his advisors about the sanctimony of the BBC and comments via Twitter etc ( and some of the abuse I’ve seen from so-called Derby “fans” was atrocious ) and deleted the comments accordingly. When I see some of the comments on FB,Twitter and these forums I can understand how lynch mobs formed,nowadays it’s done by keyboard warriors.

Maybe he should, but no-one clutching the curtains gave a toss when he was buying Preston, so I doubt it would make any difference to most of them if he did, though perhaps some of our own fans would appreciate it.
Don't get the idea that I'm wildly enthusiastic about the guy, I just hate the stench of hypocrisy that spews out of social media at times like this.

Yep eleven years ago I imagine people used those platforms to show how clever or funny they could be where as now they are there to show how saintly you are no matter how you actually live real life ,

Lots of us were onboard when a possible Saudi relative was going to take over.
That issue was related to human rights and most were willing to let it be.
Now the media are dragging up over a decade old set of tweets without asking for an explanation. Tweets mind you, Ill advised and in some cases very wrong by most of societies view.
No context, no recourse, no room for change or maturing over 10 years but let’s post them and make it a massive issue.
I hope these same people are on twitter daily calling everyone to repentance who doesn’t say things they agree with or say things that are wrong by the society they live in.
As long as he treats everyone at the club with equality and doesn’t discriminate either directly or indirectly he can think what he likes (even if they were not taken out of context).
Sodding words over 10 years old and we have this rigmarole. Ridiculous.
