Warne confirming Ward, Wilson and Bird all out for 8+ weeks

Maybe Mark Thomas isn't impressed with the sort of players Warne wants to sign, either? 

I remember reading the blurb about him when he started. That's exactly what we were told he was good at. So why did we employ him if we are only looking for League One promotion experience?

Honestly no idea. He's clearly well respected and highly thought of. But at the moment it seems like different people all pulling in different directions

Bird, Ward and Wilson all injured. Smith I don't want starting especially after his strop on Tuesday. Honestly its probably the best team available right now. Desperately light            

It doesn't take a genius to realise most of these players aren't Mark Thomas's suggestions. His 'specialty' we'll call it is low league and Irish league 'gems'. Small fees with a huge sell on potential. Premier league academy off casts also. I think he will come good but so far people are a bit peeved off

Started in March, but people higher up are certainly not impressed with him so far. 

To clear up confusion, I’m referring to Mark Thomas. He wasn’t prepared for this summer and that’s why the recruitment is Warnes buddies/ players he knew.

Bird, Wilson and ward all injured. There is still friction between the manager and recruitment team. He’s useless apparently. I’ll be honest even with 4 in I’m a little worried about the quality of those players.especially with how tight the budget was. May all change with sales/ injuries of course

Been told to expect minimum 4 in. Mix of loan and permanent. Bird won’t leave, especially now he’s injured but Cashin, if the right bid with good cash up front comes in he will be gone. Any money that comes in from transfers can and will be reinvested back into players

I’ve been told there’s growing frustrations between Warne and mainly Pearce due to the budget. Im genuinly worried about the rest of this season

DC was at moor farm this morning… take that how you will. IlL be honest the stuff I’m hearing right now isn’t good. It seems like the budget has been spent. No closer to signing any players. After last nights performance I must admit I’m very worried 

We’re winning, but again we’re getting outplayed and outran. The midfield is so easy to bully and get through

Extremely worried with that. Thommo should be starting. If we lose this I fear it may become toxic 

No chance we get any more permanent players unless they’re on tiny wages. Loan wise we can’t afford to pay much either. Believe the max we can offer players is around 4k a week. That’s the going rumour at the moment. I have no idea of this is the ‘business plan’ or DC being a bit stingy with budgets or if Warne has splashed out too much on wages and had struggled to work with the budgets set

Been told mood this morning was a lot better than yesterday. Apparently there was a full meeting yesterday with staff and players where they had a productive conversation.  

Every time we’ve played 3 at the back we’ve been poor. We went 21 games unbeaten in a 4231. Why change it?!
