SaffyRam reacted to Premier ram in Fan Forum (not this one)
This relentless Warne bashing is getting very tiresome

and yet you can bet ref will be out there in charge of another League One fixture this weekend.....

SaffyRam got a reaction from jimtastic56 in Fan Forum (not this one)
I was at that forum too. I remember going home feeling very reassured and relieved that we didn’t have an FFP issue. I can’t believe he’s still at the club.

He’s a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, you’d think he had something to do with the whole ‘plan’, I can’t see how Mel thought up our FFP wheeze? The idea that he was just going along with Mel’s demands seems far-fetched.

SaffyRam reacted to FlyBritishMidland in Graham Poll
I think it was Ian Hall com-commentating who said “Graham Poll thinks he’s the best referee in England, he isn’t even the best referee in Tring”.

SaffyRam reacted to SSD in Graham Poll
Graham Poll.... is a clucking great ref.
I reckon he'd still get a game in our division. Giving a player a second yellow and not sending him off is about the standard of league one.

SaffyRam reacted to Day in Graham Poll
Last time he took control of a game was the play of final between Derby and WBA in 2007. Crazy how time flies.
Fun fact for you all, Graham Poll's full name is, Graham Poll. He doesn't have a middle name.
Did anyone like Graham?

SaffyRam reacted to uttoxram75 in Who enjoys Warne's football poll?
We're in Division 3.
Enjoyment comes when we look like we have a chance of promotion. Until then, its a matter of getting behind the lads every match.
Having said that, some of us will remember the days of being in similar circumstances fondly. I cannot emphasise enough how good it will feel when we make our journey back. Be part of it. Be proud. Keep the faith.

SaffyRam reacted to sunnyhill60 in Jake Rooney
A deeply unpleasant thread so far off topic its in a distant galaxy. I clicked on it hoping for some update on Jake
Does this forum still have Moderators to keep the egos in check?

SaffyRam reacted to sage in Match Thread: vs Bolton (A)
It hit his chest, Nowhere near his arm. The ref had to be guessing. You don't give red cards on probabilities.

SaffyRam reacted to angieram in Match Thread: vs Bolton (A)
If it did that's NOT a handball, same as when it bounces up off a player's thigh onto the arm.
I didn't see any unsporting behaviour from Joe in this game. Anything like that should be completely irrelevant anyway.
Although this was the bloke who referreed us at Plymouth, so who knows what goes on in his mind?

It looks like it bounced off his chest to me. You can see his shirt move!

It doesn't work like that. You can't give what you didn't see. If he didn't see it, he shouldn't have given it.

SaffyRam reacted to The_Sheriff in Match Thread: vs Bolton (A)
So frustrating reading this thread. Too many waiting to say warne out at the first chance of things going against us.
We just lost to the best team in the league 2-1 with 10 men and a few pen shouts.
3 pts from pboro and bolton away is not a bad return.
Get behind the team plenty of games left!

Listened to this on Radio Hysterics, what was the true reflection of this game? (posters I do not respect need not reply)

SaffyRam reacted to Mr Tibbs in Match Thread: vs Bolton (A)
Apart from last week where we tore a promotion rival to shreds.

SaffyRam reacted to JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta in Summer Rumour Mill
We might as well keep him until the summer and get a tribunal fee if he doesn't want to stay.
Promotion is worth more than any fee we can get for him at this point.

SaffyRam reacted to Ram a lamb a ding dong in Eiran Cashin
Obviously feel his value to the team is bigger than getting a fee.
I tend to agree
