    - Ed Dawes is a high quality local radio commentator and critics are ignorant to the standard of local commentary around the country
    - Graham Richards became a bumbling confused and inaccurate local radio commentator for the last few years of his commentary
    - Derby fans have been generally spoilt/blessed over the last 40 years by the sheer quality of coverage provided by BBC Radio Derby
    - Gary Teale was underrated and would easily be our star player right now
    - "Legends" Bobby Davison and Igor Stimac couldn't wait to get away from Derby County and lacked loyalty

Nigel Clough showed on a number of occasions that he could set up a team to play beautiful football. Easily rivalling that of Mac1.

Just a shame he was always quick to put the brakes on to drag us to 50 points - but with a bottom 6 budget he did brilliantly when you consider what he inherited.

I didn't want to watch that, but Mrs Badger did. So we compromised and watched it about a year or so ago.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I too would give it a 7.5/10 if I didn't want to get castrated by @maxjam,, so instead, I will opt for a Gary Micklewhite/10

Bullet Train has been added to Netflix.
Action/comedy with a few big names like Brad Pitt and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Multiple assassins all find themselves on a bullet train unknowingly having the same mission.
It's an enjoyable watch and one to not take too seriously.

I went to see Romesh Ranganathan last night at The Plymouth Pavilions. It's  a 75 minute drive and the worst comedy venue in the Western Hemisphere, but it was well worth it.
Never seen him live before, but he was great value, and there was rarely a smile off my face.
I didn't quite know what to expect as I haven't watched any of his sitcoms and have only seen him do a smattering of stand-up.
Opening up with a joke about being trolled on Twitter by Laurence Fox and his racist mates was brilliant, with a great use of the C word.
At one stage, Mrs Badger turned to me after he made one acerbic comment and said, 'That's you'. That's probably why I liked him so much. Athough, rather confusingly, it doesn't explain why she thought he was great too, when I seldom get more than an eye roll.

There were lots of jokes about hypocrisy (mainly his own), wanting to stay in and watch TV rather than socialise, and preferring his wife had swung with a couple at a party than drunkenly agreeing to go on holiday with them to Portugal, which he did.
He is the Victor Meldew of Sri Lankan comedy and I think a lot in t his group would like him.
Just not the fellas who lean slightly more to the right.
Not only would I go and see him again, I'd even drive to that **** hole, Plymouth to do so. Rare praise.
He did quite a long set, too, with no warm-up and an intermission.
I thought Tom Allen was brilliant and he may just about have shaded it.

I dunno, I think in retrospect - that WAS the story. The stalker thing made the superficial headlines but really it was a story about how being sexually abused impacted on his whole life

It was definitely way before he was at Derby, if you see the full picture, Terry Venable is on it. I have heard that Mackay reacted like that because Bremner went in hard and it was DMs first game back after a nasty injury.

One performance of utter lunacy stands out, and that was Bruce Rioch scything through the entire Southend team in the cup at the BBG in 1975 and, unbelievably, not getting sent off.
But as others have said, we've never had a dirty team, per se.
In terms of hard men, I doubt any would top Dave Mackay.

Mrs Badger talked me into Slow Horses 3.
It veers from utterly brilliant to preposterous.
There is some great dialogue and acting from Oldman, but then Jack Lowden breaks out of MI5 headquarters through a service hatch ffs.
It has the potential to be one of the best programmes on TV, but let's itself down.
Or maybe it doesn't. Maybe I'm just a sad old man called Nursy with an udder fixation.

    Clarksons Farm Season 3
Another excellent year on the farm with Clarkson et al.  If you enjoyed the previous seasons you'll enjoy this - lots of ups and downs with some moments of genuine happiness/sadness.
With season 4 already being filmed we've got at least another one to look forwards to 🙂

I got a bit lost, then read about the actual foundation of the story and enjoyed the second half more. It's definitely a film where a bit of background reading helps first, similar to Oppenheimer or JFK.  if not, you do get a bit stumped on character relationships.
The film I got totally lost on was one at the cinema called Watchmen.  Not a clue for 3 hours.  Apparently, there is a graphic novel I should have looked at first.  Would have made no difference.  I'd give that a Con Blatsis/10

We've given up on it. Can't really see it getting any better, and I don't really care about any of the characters
Netflix told me it was a 98% match for me, and it's listed in their top 10 shows this week
I probably should have checked Rotten Tomatoes first. It gets terrible ratings

On the upside - the first trailer has dropped for Season 2 of Colin From Accounts 😁

    Humour is 100% subjective.
I saw Chris Rock live and barely smirked as he ranted about his wife, but a huge venue was in uproar.
I don't find her funny at all, but if she can fill the Appllo, some people clearly do.
