    I'm pleased with osula's performance.
However, I'm also pleased for Jack Stretton, who scored a brace today.
I appreciate that Jack is under contract to us.

I think lr would have got us against port Vale.
However, it's unfair to criticise warne, when he's only 3 matches into managing the club.
It takes time to build the club from players you were not responsible for bringing to the club.
I don't blame the players as that's not the formation they had been playing under lr.
I don't blame warne as he has a lot of experience in promoting clubs from this league.
If you lose a player during a game that for me means, change formation, go defensive, especially if you have a lead over the other team or are level on goal difference.
Losing Collins for 3 matches is not great.

It’s rather inevitable that Warne will get some stick when things go poorly.
He has replaced Rosenior, who had an awful lot of good will still on his side, was universally popular and was doing alright.
As a result, the “cuckoo in the nest“ will have to do better than how Rosenior was perceived to be doing.
The Port Vale match was a game most fans turned up to expecting a win.
My concern is we have changed our style of play and formation, which does not necessarily suit our players - playing forward players as wing-backs leaves us susceptible at the back, meaning we have done a “Morris” by building one team and now needing different players that suit the new managers style better.
I just hope that we stick to one philosophy and don’t go down the new manager route if Warne doesn’t bring immediate success.

It appears crazy to me, that forest spend 150 million on 22 new players and can't get them to work as a team under Steve Cooper.
That they appear to be in greater disarray for once than we are.
While clowes has saved our club and brought a winning team under Warne, and for given us a period a of enjoyable football.
Forest who insulted us multiple times as we almost ceased to exist as team right upto when clowes took over in the summer, and now there are those who would call for us to offer peace flag to forest and respect to Steve Cooper.
I think there are far too many forest fans who hoped for Derby to cease to exist as a team.
I think its a bit cheeky to ask that of Derby fans at present.

His after match comments, tell me that he's both an analytic tactician, and excellent at his job.
He sees where he wants the team to be, and he has a plan to get us there.
His next challenge will be Ipswich, not the next match, I can't see the next match being any thing but a win for Derby.
    Mansfield Town, win for us.
    Port Vale, win for us.
    Accrington Stanley, win for us.
Manchester City u21, could be a win.
    Ipswich, next real challenge.

It’s DC United. They are bottom of the league and here are their stats since Rooney took over:
    Played:12 W:2 D:3 L:7 (win rate 16.7%)
Becoming clear how talented Liam is, in my opinion.

Warne could get Collins scoring a lot of goals.
He has a knack for getting the very best from players.

In the summer, Lr had to build team fast in order for Derby to meet at least the minimum requirement for a team to be allowed to play.
With no transfer budget, he brought in a lot of free agents.
The free agents, we're not wanted by their clubs.
Last season Collins couldn't hit a barn door, hasn't changed that much, this season.
I wonder how lr would have done, if he had been allowed to pay money for players.

    Unsurprised, good look to lr.
Derby averaged 1.92 points per match with Rosenior as caretaker manger. This trumps Rooney’s total as Rams boss, with the former Manchester United striker averaging 1.14 points per match during his 17-month tenure.
We might have stayed up if Lr had been our Manager instead of Rooney.

Sincere thanks for the efforts Liam. Conducted himself very admirably throughout. I hope he does well whatever and wherever he goes next. I think him leaving may be best for him. Whilst he hasn't blown anyone away here, he's probably done enough to merit a role somewhere else in L2/L1 as the main man. Better than another subordinate role like he's already had under Cocu and Rooney surely.

Saddened for Rosenior, but the away form was a concern. I think David Clowes has taken on a lot of financial responsibility, buying both club & stadium when he was only buying the latter at first. I think this is a decision made to try to ensure we get out of the division within two seasons at the most & getting back in the Champ'ship would probably allow the club to generate more income (attendances, tv revenue), taking the burden off Mr Clowes, who I think probably wouldn't mind other suitable interested parties assisting him (i.e. fellow local businessmen/associates injecting some investment).
We probably need a certain level of crowds to break even, say around the 27k, and whilst the Championship brings more expense, Warne has been used to managing under a budget, and in fact has seen players poached by clubs a division lower, so he'd probably receive more support if he did get us promoted in terms of budget (middle range for the division, competitive) than he did at Rotherham ((90% less than the rest of the division, apparently), but not something that would jeopardize the club's future after recent events.
Heart said Rosenior, head understands why the new owner took the decision (cold, unsentimental) for the ultimate financial well-being of the club. I think it's less of the knee-jerk, Mel Morris type of decision (ego/headlines), and one taken to give us as good a chance of getting out of the division as quickly as possible. This season may be about rebuilding things and having a tilt at the play-offs; a few other sides, like Ipswich, are further ahead in terms of development, and maybe next season, with a full pre-season, you'd expect us to be the front-runner if we do not manage promotion this season.
I didn't know a great deal about Warne, browsed one article (training ground guru), which gives the impression that he possesses Rosenior's human qualities as a man-manager, but has the proven experience. Rosenior was a gamble (unknown quantity), Warne, a more calculated risk. Of course, it doesn't always work out like that, but Warne does know what it takes to get out of the division.
