You mean playing actual football on the ground but with pace.  Even putting players in the correct position to utilise their strengths.  What sort of witchcraft is this.  Next you'll be suggesting we could use different players or tweak formation depending on who we play.

I seem to recall premier league managers fighting to send players here when we had McClaren. Under this managers type of play I suspect we won't get any and indeed any that are here will probably be recalled.

Not sure how it works but if possible this should really be looked at retrospectively.  Intentional and a breaker.  Always been a team of midfield filth in my years of watching.   They have previous form against us after all.  

Wonder if it's the same ankle that kept him out for 2-3 months last season.  Tackle from an overnight manager in training and another in a pointless game that has as much relevance as a Sunday kickabout on  the park to clear a hangover.  Lovely

Warne needs to stop being stubborn. We don't have the players for a 352. If he wants to play that then he is going to have to dip into the transfer market in January. Until then, play a 433 which suits what we've got. Watching Barkhuizen running back to his own goal trying to defend made me want to turn the game off.

By far the cleverest forward we have was scratching his arse on the bench for an hour  and he must be pushing 500 senior games..  That was the managers call. I also think we have a very decent team for this level and some can actually play football. He may as well not play Laing and Barkhuizen as he totally negates any attacking prowess they have as they're knackered running around for fook all. For some reason he seems to keep playing Bird as well.  Every manager seems to go on about him being a nice lad who wants to learn .  That being the case I can't see he's learnt anything in over two years.  He must be a part time hypnotist or something.

Remember McLaren doing that with a team he didn't sign in about 45 minutes against the same opposition.
Be nice to have a manager with a tactical brain rather than a shoehorn.
