You make some good points and it perhaps is time there was honest open debate over the pros and cons of what advantage s the public and private sector get relatively to each other
personally I haven’t put my rates up for about 8 years 

When the government reviewed the average salary based on regional pay in the same sector across regions for there 2013 pay negotiation -this is for office work rather than nurses,  the average salary for the same types of work was about 4 k higher in the private sector for the East Midlands.  The same independent review also deemed the work pension age should remain at 60 for retirement point.  Surprisingly, they ignored it, increased the work pension age to 67, tripled the contribution and made it career average instead of final salary.   As an addition the government decided that the non contracted out  pension element of National Insurance needed to be paid back.  Effectively, if you worked all you life as a civil servant you'll need to work 3 years longer to get the basic state pension.   The only perk if you can call it that is that your likely to have 2 years pre notice of any office closure.  Good job as the loss of jobs over 10 years is an epidemic with the nearest regional office normally Plymouth to Bristol or equally ridiculous. 
I'm sure everyone swallowed the rhetoric of loads of idle civil servants in bowler hats getting gold plated pensions, 50k salaries and every Friday in the pub when the government started the hatchet job.  Now there's 30'000 less people actually doing this work i imagine the loss to the exchequer runs into billions in unchecked tax returns, unfiled documents etc. The litmus test is how easy it is to get through to anyone , or anyone who knows what they're doing.  Twenty years you'd get to see someone face to face and get a local office name and number.

Hers another.  A great Goddard 3 rd goal and  Wayne Clarkes double finger to the pop side. His brother was Allan Clarke who played for Leeds.  Probably explains the love.
 

It won't but it will make a difference to FFP going forward in wages off the books and him not leaving on free.  Looking past this 2 years on the naughty step, a transfer fee is better.

Warne spoke of the possibility of getting him back to Derby, confirming that we have a recall in the loan this January - HOWEVER, said that he wouldn't want any prisoners and wouldn't bring him back if he didn't want to come back. Lo and behold, he's not returned and the club have confirmed he will be staying at Birmingham for this season. 
I don't think it's a conspiracy to suggest that he has decided against coming back to Derby to continue playing in the Championship.

About 2026 when we've binned of  Bieliks fee and wages which will be a nice big free transfer loss on the FFP the way we're going.  Either that or negate by flogging someone for 10 million. We haven't got many of them . 
only other clubs that are allowed to flog the stadium and associated debt to a family member at a vastly inflated cost, continually sell the debt to themselves in the form of shares, claim 40 million covid losses and imaginary loss of transfer fees or sell a player to a parent club for 18 million and loan them back to get round FFP.

I'm glad we let Man Utd have those three top rated youngsters in lieu of a loan fee for Mengi.  Did there old boy Wayne a great deal on that one.

 It could be a simple case of corruption, or maybe the aim could be having a more "glamour" Championship, that could virtually mean more money from TV, sponsors, etc.  Maybe Bristol City and the clubs Y and Z are seen as less "profitable" than the likes of - examples - Sunderland (bigger despite having being in L1), Birmingham, Huddersfield (recently in the Premier League) and talking about L1, the likes of Wednesday, Derby, etc
