It’s difficult mate, we obviously have a much smaller fan base and therefore it’s difficult to get something “official” organised. The supporters trust are reluctant to organise anything because of the potential trouble that could occur.
We had a few hundred March from the town centre to the ground last year and obviously the last game was halted when a couple of hundred invaded the pitch, but Swann (owner) holds all the aces and has pulled a similar stunt to your owner by taking the ground/land and transferring it into his parent company. He wiped off £11million we owed his company after years of reckless spending in league one.

Like I say, we are completely up sh1t creek, but to see some of the support we are getting from supporters like yourselves won’t be forgotten.

Seeing on social media that there are a few of you buying tickets to come and show your support for my local side, Scunthorpe United-who are getting ran into the ground by an incompetent owner- on Saturday. We are drinking in the last chance saloon with a winding up order and no money left in the pot to pay any wages.
Thank you chaps, it’s much appreciated by our supporters.

Fair post. Looking forward to tomorrow hoping for a good contest with some goals and a good atmosphere. I view Bolton as a very similar club to Derby, proud history strong fan base, fallen on hard times but deserving of better. Of course tomorrow only a Derby victory will suffice but from then on I hope that both clubs get promoted. I am also happy seeing ex Ram Evatt doing well. If I remember correctly a Bolton fan came to support us during last seasons game against Birmingham posted an excellent video of the day?. A proper football club.

Yeah Hanson left us in the summer and doesn't even appear to have ended up anywhere on trial since.
As for Thomas, been with us since July 2014 when brought in as part of Michael Appleton's staff. Very much the right hand man to Craig Dean (head of scouting) to begin with, but when Dean left for Leeds (October 2017), Thomas became the main man for all things recruitment, analysis and scouting. A big part of our links to the Irish leagues and successes with players brought over.
    Successes include:
Rob Atkinson - signed from Eastleigh Jan 2020 Undisclosed fee. Sold July 2021 to Bristol City for circa £2m.
Rob Dickie - signed from Reading Jan 2018 Undisclosed fee. Sold Sept 2020 to QPR for circa £2m.
Tariq Fosu - signed from Charlton July 2020 Undisclosed fee. Sold Jan 2021 to Brentford for 750k (release clause)
Marvin Johnson - signed from Motherwell August 2016 650k. Sold August 2017 to Boro for circa £2.75m.
Ryan Ledson - signed from Everton August 2016 for a compo fee. Sold May 2018 to Preston for circa £1m.
John Lundstram - signed from Everton August 2015 for a compo fee. Sold July 2017 to Sheff Utd for 750k (final year of deal)
Luke McNally - signed from St Pat's Athletic Jan 2021 for circa 60k. Sold July 2022 to Burnley for circa £2.2m.
Joe Rothwell - signed from Man Utd July 2016 for a compo fee. Sold June 2018 to Blackburn for circa 500k (pre-agreed compo fee)
Mark Sykes - signed from Glenavon Jan 2019 for circa 50k. Joined Bristol City July 2022 on a free after running contract down.
Gavin Whyte - signed from Crusaders July 2018 for circa 75k. Sold July 2019 to Cardiff for circa £1.5m.
Loans over his time including Carlton Morris (now at Luton), George Baldock (now at Sheff Utd), Jonjoe Kenny (now at Hertha Berlin), Tyler Roberts (now at Leeds), Toni Martinez (now at Porto)
Also solid signings for the relevant levels - Liam Sercombe, Chris Maguire, Curtis Nelson, Cameron Brannagan.
Naturally there have been some "failures" as well - Hanson and Thorne have to be included, although with the latter, the entire medical department advised against and Karl Robinson overruled (a reoccurring theme in recent times). A couple of Irish/Scottish recruits haven't worked and there have been the failed loans that every club sees.

But all in all, a pretty good hit rate for both improving the team, and younger "project" types to bring in and sell on.
It's noticeable that our recruitment tactic seemingly changed in the summer with older and bigger risk players coming in - Josh Murphy, Yanic Wildschut and now Thomas is looking to move on. Suggests he may have been undermined a bit more recently.

Starting for Brum tonight. We need to hoping for good performances and then sell him on sharpish before he breaks down again. The thought of him running around in freezing cold temps tonight on whats probably a hard pitch fills me with dread.

Used to look forward to first & last league games, boxing day fixture and 3rd round FA Cup tie, usually freezing cold and usually lose!
Sunday lunchtime is the worst possible time to watch a game, i won't be braving Sunday morning public transport for this one, Ill leave it to the Uber fans.
I wonder how many others won't bother also, would the foreign TV rights make more money for the club than 3000-4000 less in the crowd?

It's a crappy draw made even crappier by the new KO day and time. If more than 7,000 bother, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
This tossing around with KO times for TV is another nail in the coffin of the FA Cup. Such a shame.

    Morning all,
Not sure about you guys but i enjoyed the game yesterday. Real scrappy affair. Only thing that annoyed me was the poor attendance. I guess switching to a Sunday and being poop in the league doesn’t automatically give you a big attendance for the FA Cup anymore.
Thank you to all those who came down to the Excelsior Club, impeccably behaved and the barstaff were complimentary about the fans who came in.
Good luck in the next round and good luck for the rest of the season

Stadium mk website does say that there are tickets available in their block 30, which is for away fans. But maybe their website kicks out non local postcodes. Maybe it's worth a phonecall to their ticket office, because they advertise that they sell direct to visiting supporters. Maybe they hold back a small area for such purchasers.
It'll only cost a phone call, hopefully not a premium one like Derby.

Just Google a business address in MK and use that. In fact how about:
MK17 0NA (which is a pub on the outskirts of MK town)?
It's not as if they are going to post them out, good luck.

Steadybreeze reacted to Tamworthram in The Administration Thread
You’re making it sound like we’ve set a precedent. Maybe it’s been the case, before we came along, that clubs going into administration have to abide by an agreed business plan for a couple of years. Surely, even if there were no restrictions and clubs were allowed to pay transfer fees you’d still need a rich owner to stump up the money. Depending on the exact terms of the restrictions, it feels like a bitter pill we just need to swallow.

Despite what we all think of the EFL, I really don’t think they’re trying to destroy Derby County. We’d all like to bounce straight back up to the Championship but if we have to face a couple of seasons (or more) in league 1 it isn’t going to destroy the club and the wages we can offer should mean we should be able to survive and possibly challenge during that period.

I can’t comment on Wigan as I don’t know enough about their circumstances.
Finally, it wasn’t the EFL that relegated us, it was those in charge of the club that allowed us to go into administration. It’s a bit like complaining about facing financial hardship if you lose your licence for a year or two for drink driving. Don’t blame the police for catching you or the courts for imposing the penalty. Don’t drink and drive in the first place.

Steadybreeze reacted to i-Ram in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
It’s a good question. Bit surprised it came from you though.
l suppose I am being a little unfair to Warne. It is the Club that seem to be hyping him up, with Owen Bradley gushing around him like a pubescent schoolgirl with a crush. Perhaps quite difficult for Warne to dampen down all the flattering small talk, and it’s easier to run with the ‘yeah, you’re not wrong, I am indeed a likeable, relatable, amusing kind of guy’.
I guess I am just a bit old school. Fwiw I take the view that a more measured approach would have been better over the last week and a bit.
Firstly because I think we should have been more respectful to Liam Rosenior. Not saying Liam was going to cut it, or indeed that he shouldn’t have been stood down, but the guy did a lot of good work for the club particularly during his final 15 months, and he deserved a lot better in my view with regards to the manner of his departure. A few lines on a website - thanks Liam, good luck, whatever.
Secondly because we have signed Paul Warne, not Pep Guardiola or Carlo Ancelotti or any other proven manager. He’s managed one club, one small provincial club, with clearly a lot of leeway and Bonhomie from his Chairman, and whilst he has had some promotions let’s not forget he has had a similar number of relegations. He is many ways an unknown entity, one who I hope succeeds I should emphasise, but the buzz seems to be, before he has even even managed one game, that he ‘is the man’ who is going to take us back up the leagues.
All a bit unnecessary, and premature, if you ask me. Happy to get carried away after say 10 games or so, when we are in the top 3 and playing decent football, but for me personally I would have preferred a more low key first week, with good performances and results over the weeks ahead being a more appropriate catalyst for the current love-in.
