Will somebody please buy the EFL a dictionary, so they can understand the difference between a 'claimant' and a 'creditor'? The two fantasy figure cases produced by the vexatious claimants cannot possibly lead to them being treated as creditors. Once they are removed from the equation (whether they decide to pursue their ridiculous claims or not) surely the takeover can proceed?! Or is this a rose-tinted, simplistic view of the true position?

I just cannot get my head round "a preferred bidder will be announced imminently" to 5 weeks later needing an extension. The admins are experienced insolvency practitioners. Something changed and we the supporters do not know what, and frankly I think we deserve the truth no matter what it is. I do not trust the EFL one bit and if we were already cut adrift I feel this would be a whole different ball game.

Before we start sucking a "twelve incher" everyone needs a pat on the back, From those that have emailed their MPs, To those that have shown support on here, TV, Radio, Social Media, Organised petitions, Marches, Councilors, Fans who have supported DCFC through this shower show, The 30k ish who'll be there Sunday, Those who through circumstances couldn't make games but fought valiantly.
The Ordinary fan hasn't the platform that some have...So i'll say it
    WELL DONE TO EVERYONE

I have just asked Nixon after his latest tweet “how come he gets these updates from the EFL yet the EFL don’t update the fans”, and he’s blocked me the knob head has. It proves to me the EFL are leaking things to him though.

I imagine the creditors are clever enough to know they get more if a club is taken over rather than liquidated. For the former to happen, this club must retain its players.

You're confusing Administration with Liquidation. If their only job was to sell assets to obtain money for creditors, they'd be appointed as Liquidators and we'd already have been kicked out of the EFL. With debts of £60M, saving the club is going to be the best chance of returning the maximum possible to Creditors.
Bear in mind that, even out of Contract, compensation is due for all players under 24 when they're registered by a new club. The EFL collects this to distribute to football creditors. So not selling now doesn't mean that all such players have no value to creditors should the club fold.

Kinda lost the will to live really.  Check in daily waiting to see a big neon sign flashing "Preferred Bidder Announced" or similar......crawl away frustrated again. But like waiting to hit that perfect shot in golf or trying to catch that double figure carp you just know is lurking there, I come back for more.  I will hit that shot and catch that carp if not today, then tomorrow......
Sorry, I sound like Cantona now.

Or we did everything we could  we don't want to lose Derby but we have to maintain the integrity of the Football League that's why we appointed Peter Ridsdale to sort it out.

& a -15 start next season with a squad of about 5 senior players, but under an embargo and 'agreed' (read enforced) business plan from the EFL restricting us from signing any players who could possibly help us avoid relegation, thus finding ourselves in League Two for the 23/24 season.
Alternatively, in a completely unprecedented step we end up having to start up as a new club but are allowed to go straight into League Two for the 23/24 season (presumably skipping 22/23 altogether) with a bare bones set-up, no Academy team to speak of (our only crowning glory of the last few years) and in all likelihood only being able to field a team who will struggle to stay up.
It's almost as if the EFL have wanted to demote us to League Two all along and will do whatever is in their power to make it happen. Then they want to play the good guys by saying "Hey look, we didn't have to let you restart in League Two. Actually, we're doing you a massive favour"

We'll if that's the case, I think we all need to get back to battle stations again.
No point losing the momentum we put in we have all had a break lets get back to it with the MP'S and Social Media again as all the traction we got will be lost and we will need to start the process again.
The delay is so we can't buy anyone until the window shuts Can't re-sign our own players again and the EFL win again. It's all smoke and Mirrors.

Understand what you are saying but although it was Morris who pushed us in the canal and I don't think many are arguing with that, it is the EFL and their buddies who are standing on the towpath with a bargepole pushing us back in every time we manage to swim to the edge. They offer a life ring but want us to chuck them our wallet before they'll let us have it or they'll happily let us drown.
