I think McGoldrick for all his talents might be a difficult guy to play alongside.

Loved Sibley’s post match interview where he told everyone AM is where he wants to play. Sure Warne was pleased to hear that
Warne on the other hand managed to make Sibleys two excellent goals about Warne: Haha I told sibbo I wish he’d scored another because if he had I’d have been manager of the month.  More careless flippancy from Warne in his interviews - I wish he didn’t try so hard to be cute and quirky.

Bournemouth leading Liverpool 1-0 with 2 mins of added time left - Salah missed a pen in the 2nd half
Finished 1-0 - squeaky bum time at the bottom of the table….

I'll be very disappointed if Ed Dawes shows up at BBC radio Derby today.
Anyway what's all this Lineker stuff I've been away all week?

A lot of folk are claiming that this is because the BBC (prompted by the government) don't like his politics - while that may be true with some in their management structure, the underlying issue here is that Lineker has brought the organisation unwanted publicity via his tweets (exacerbated by the BBC repsonse).
Most large companies will have policies stating that their employees shouldn't do anything that may damage the standing of the company (as an example, I have to do an annual online course reminding me of the ethics and behaviours that are expected of me by my employer) - the underlying message is "Don't do anything might might mean you're on the front-page of the papers".
In Lineker's case, he's the face of football on the Beeb - that position carries a fairly weighty responsibility to always behave in a way that protects the BBC from undue criticism - and the implication of that is that he should keep his rather big gob shut on matters such of this while he's still taking the millions from the Beeb....

    Echo this
my family sadly have a horrendous history of bowel cancer. We lost my dear dad 5 years ago to it at the tender age of 62 having been diagnosed at only 58.
iv had several polyps pulled from me now but as undignified as it all is i know the alternative is a lot worse. Iv got young kids and to put them through what i as a 40 yo went through with my dad far far far outweighs any embarrassment of having a camera in my ass.
Any doubts, bloating, pain after eating , irregular bowel habbits, blood in poo, go… go and get checked out
probably nothing, but dont give fate a chance

Been to Chesterfield and Rovverum hospital pharmacies for a mixture of things, let's say this is is not a unique situation to Derby. Sometimes it's simply the prescription is stuck waiting in the system, sometimes they just don't have the hands to get the job done, sometimes Lord only knows because I don't. Not an easy job I know, but sometimes they really test the patience of their patients!
(That being said I was at Thornbury, which is a private hospital, and waited 3 - 4 hours for a box of Co-Codamol and bottle of Lactulose from their on-site pharmacist - I would have been quicker driving home and calling in Boots in Chesterfield.?)

That pharmacy is a disgrace - not only outpatients waiting for hours, but members of staff (including nurses) that are trying to get people discharged from the hospital - no wonder there are complaints of no beds when they simply can't get people out of the door - and the worst thing is that if you're given a prescription by a doctor/consultant at the hospital, you HAVE to use the on-site pharmacy - you're not allowed to take the prescription to your local chemist. I once waited neatly 2 hours for Codeine - hardly a specialist drug....

Last September I was playing football with my grandson, and hurt my knee. I didn’t bother the doctors because the knee gradually returned to near normal, but still quite painful at times. It was such a time I winced, and my wife “advised “ me to see the doctor, which I duly attended, knee examination, all OK, I asked for a PSA (having seen the information at Pride Park) check which he duly gave me the paperwork. The test came back 7.1, I’m over 70 so 6.5 is regarded as normal. I was dispatched to the Derby Royal, had the anal examination, ( for the first time) small lump found. In five weeks I’ve had a MRI scan,my prostrate biopsy done, and a QT scan, and I’m now on a hormone treatment plan. It appears they’ve caught the tumour early, and the prognosis is good, they say it will be eliminated. You do lose your dignity at times, but not going through that door and having the exam you could lose a lot more.
A shout out to the doctors and nurses at the Derby Royal, they have been absolutely terrific, informative, and very understanding, and caring.

I thought Bernie Ecclestone was crackers when he suggested spraying water on the track 10 laps from the end of races to liven it up a bit - perhaps he simply had a premonition of the current issues.....

Liverpool 7 Man Utd 0 - United were utterly embarassing - shambolic defending, blatant cheating (particularly the obnoxious Fernandes) and a compete lack of spirit/fight/discipline - could quite easily have had Shaw & Fernades sent off sent off and lost by 10 - I'm no fan of the scousers, but what a brilliant couple of hours entertainment.....
