Rubbish. Momentum from the Lampard era? We picked up in the middle of the season, we started rubbish and he had to deal with the drink driving incident. Rooney didn't drag up anything. He took a team 2 points from relegation to just above the relegation zone. Cocu would have managed that and got us mid table comfortably. Rooney did a poo job.

To be honest Guardiola would not have changed today...when you have to rely on Forysth Roos etc there is no hope for you.  

Except given the position Derby was in when he took over, it is an achievement.... No club is too big to go down....

The problem was, before the start of the season we did not have a striker that would score us goals, hence why we were one of the lowest scorers in th league. That was down to Cocu/recruitment/scouts etc. Wayne had one window which was held up by an embargo and to be honest the chances of finding a striker was slim to none. So I would give him another chance and see where we are by December before passing our comments on whether he should stay or go.

Mel has invested well over £100 million in the club since he assumed overall control, the basic business of the  club, is in my opinion not in a mess, we have a great ground , great academy and the commercial side of the businesses is very well run which as a previous tenant of an executive box at the ground I have very good first hand knowledge of.
What is an issue is the unrealistic expectations and  demands of a supporter base that expects the rams to win every game and if that does not happen to get their pitchforks out to drive the owner/manager/players out of the club/town. I believe the squandering of Mel's cash was a direct result of that pressure and the decisions of some previous senior executives.
I would repeat what I have said before be careful what you wish for, because because both the fake sheik and the Alonso guy look far worse custodians of the club than Mel Morris, If I was Mel and getting this level of abuse I would liquidate and take whatever cash I could and spend the rest of my days with my feet up.    

I am not sure he has.  We have only won 3 games all season when he has started.  Not a witch hunt as he's a young lad but I do not see all the fuss about him.  He clearly does not influence the game. Terrible goals ratio.  He is not strong enough.  His set pieces are woeful.

Astonished at that question! He can complain with more justification than Sibley that he has not been played in his best position.
Sibley has yet to prove he can deliver consistently, one goal does not change that.

Clough did fabulous in stabilising but don’t kid yourself we had stagnated It under Clough because of his negative play (sound familiar?). 

Don’t understand why, if you did something irresponsible in your job that meant you could not perform for 18 months would you expect to be kept on, on full pay? You’d snap their hands off for half pay. Greedy stance to take if he has been offered any form of deal. Still not heard his apology either.
