europia got a reaction from Phuket Ram in Pay Boro/Wycombe vs Liquidation/Phoenix club?
Absolutely, if they are so convinced they have a case let them them start the ££ meter running on their legal advisors account. The case would be laughed out of court IMO

It’s utter nonsense, we owe them nothing. Let them take us to court.

It's all about holding our nerve in those two games. The players have shown they are capable of that.

Exactly…we don’t owe them anything…just an amount Gibson has plucked out of the air. Ignore them, get the sale done and see them in court if they think they have a case….

I'm delighted to hear that 'enough clubs are pissed off' that we are rejecting their paltry offers for our best young talent. Perhaps had their offers been less predatory by nature, they may have been met with a more willing ear? ?♀️

I don't believe they're anything about being in administration that compels the administrators to accept bids for players. It's usually that case because the funds are needed to keep things going whilst a rescue is attempted but it's not an obligation, especially if the administrators have been given access to funds (there was mention of borrowing further funds earler in the thread).
SO we've got "it's not fiar Derby didn't sell their good players for nothing like wot should've happened"
Seriously.
Unless there;s some sort of agreement in place with the EFL saying we sell to the first bid on a player, but surely that'd be confidential between DCFC and the EFL if so, and we can expect Mr. Gibson to bat for us on that one after his legal oddessy vs Liverpool over confidential contract clauses.

If I were the Admin I would just say sod it... sell it to Ashley clear the hmrc then tell the EFL, Gibson et Al to deal with him and see how far they get.

Do you have the money to sort out Derby's poo and make a curly haired muppet and his toady run away in tears - Yes
Do you the money to cover losses and get them back up if their in League 1 - yes
Are you going to fund a top 4 premier league campaign - No but at that stage I might sell to someone who will.
A+ in the current situation old bean.

I'm making a "Ashley Out!" banner now for 2028 when he refuses to spend big again and we have yet another season outside the Champions League places.

After all the scoffing and looking down their noses at the idea that Ashley will be our new owner and then Toon embarrass themselves in the Cup losing at home to mighty Cambridge. LOL. Money can't buy you class.

Article reads as if Boro don’t want to go to court as they might lose so pushing this route.
Cant see how they can be a creditor until they have won the possible court case when they actually get round to suing us.

europia reacted to Bald Eagle's Barmy Army in What action can fans take against Wycombe and Middlesbrough
Scenario - we are 3 points off safety when we come to play Boro and the team need our full support. Would staying away or going to the game be the better option?
Do you think £100k would make a massive difference to Boro compared to 3k Derby supporters roaring the Rams on?
I’d feel better knowing we’ve taken 3 points off them and moved closer to safety than thinking I was lining Gibsons pocket.
If anything, we’d just get jibed with poo support chants and how can we make our feelings known if we aren’t there.
Anybody thinking of staying away needs to have a re-think and get your singing voices on and get your tickets early.

Please don’t do any damage to the Riverside stadium, players cars, team bus etc it could seriously damage our takeover prospects.
To win the final battle sometimes it’s best not to engage with the enemy.

europia reacted to Kernow in New owners, new stadium name?
He never really renamed SJP did he? Remember him toying with the idea but the Geordies wouldn't have it. Regardless of whether it stays as Pride Park or not, his branding would be plastered everywhere.
But the alternative for Pride Park could be flattening and made in to new build homes, so if I have to watch Derby with big blue and red lettering at the top of the stadium that won't really affect me in any way whatsoever, then I'll take it.

Oh course it would. And those signs will be all over the ground. But as long as the club owns the stadium and moves forward, I don’t care

europia got a reaction from Kathcairns in Manager of the month
Considering Gibson (in his tiny mind) decides who should be the next UK Prime Minister and the date of the Queen's abdication, one would assume he also decides who wins manager of the month ?
