europia reacted to Tyler Durden in QPR vs Derby County matchday thread, Monday 18th April, 3pm
QPR hadn't won in 6 games before today and were beaten by the mighty Peterborough at home at the end of March so don't totally agree with your analysis but guess it an irrelevance now...what isn't debatable is the fact we've lost ten games away on the trot which needs to be sorted as one of the priorities for next season.

There is always an exception to the rules. Just ask the UK's 'honourable' PM ?

He won't have any difficulty securing future employment. For those holding a 'loose relationship with the truth' there are always opportunities in politics, government....... or the EFL

This isn't the place for the discussion really but if a currency isn't backed by any states or international bodies then yes that is a potential issue for its sustainability and institutionalisation. Crypto has big problems, especially on the sustainability front. You made a lot of points, some of which are related to monetary issues (such as inflation) some of which I don't think are necessarily related (financial systems have both fiscal and monetary issues that stem out of multiple crises hitting simultaneously, some of which appear systemic others do not).
Personally, i think crypto bros generally overestimate the 'currency's' potential and generally downplay the substantial risk being involved in what is such a volatile marketplace. All of this is mute for the conversation around Kirchner as he has said he has sold most of his crypto already. If he was still involved that'd make me quite queasy tbh.

Derby fans taking delight in Birmingham's plight should be ashamed. Yes, I'm well aware of the 'party' chant, but confident that's the empty vessels speaking the loudest.
Don't stoop to their level. No football fan deserves what we are going/have gone through.
Not even Millwall.

I imagine your reservations are shared by many others. Time will tell. First off lets see if CK actually completes the deal. The next indicator of intent will be the level of support for the manager embarking on a massive and urgent recruitment process...... on a L1 budget.

Didn't CK state somewhere that he'd recently bought an aeroplane for £22m cash ? So he must have some dosh. Come to think of it, he could have bought a football stadium with that money.....

I'm starting to think Kirchner has more front than Brighton...or dare I say it, Alonso.
Tweeting himself with Niall Horan and saying "2 Rams at the Masters", tweeting pictures of a Ram, answering a fan tonight saying Rooney will be coach next year.
I do hope actions speak louder than words/pictures.

Yes, this is exactly why DCFC hasn't attracted many serious bids. More than likely Kirchner is willing to throw the non footballing creditors under the bus. This is not a great way to start, considering many of those creditors will be local businesses and supporters of the club. I guess we will never get to see Kirchner's business plan, but it would make interesting reading. I imagine it would be a plan loaded with optimistic forecasts on gate receipts and merchandise sales. This could be a problem if the team languishes and crowd numbers drop below the break even point needed to service the cost of new debt and the stadium rent. In all likelihood it will be a minimum 4-5 yrs of austerity football. On a positive, if Kirchner does complete, the club is saved from liquidation. In no way are we looking at a happy ending, more of a 'live to fight another day' ending.....

With the intention of proving to the world that the Tweets are historic and meaningless, the Derby players parade their new 'daring' kit for next season.

American companies love setting values like that. I'm yet to work with one in my twelve year career that actually sticks to them, and I've worked with loads.
Business waffle, nothing more.

Personally a bit underwhelmed with CK potentially owning DCFC, however, it's preferable to liquidation.
