Good save I thought, should the keeper have been sent off though?
Very true.

Short of actually telling the goal keeper where he was going to put it. Grabban telegraphed that, even I might have had a chance at a save

Does anyone know why it takes long for someone to prove they have access to the funds required?
Is there any sort of confirmed way that it can be done quickly, like a intermediate bank could perhaps receive a transfer of a substantial amount of money to show the cash was there?
Or is it more a case of my mates mate has some company/shares/ office blocks they will sell if you agree the sale, and it will take them 48 hours to go through. Actually another 48 hours. 1 week. 1 month. 1...forget about it.
You would like to think that large dealings like this are professional and well managed, but it seems more like shady deals in the back of a pub, just with potentially vast sums of money.
Surely the company just takes one pound out of your account to prove it is real and that you have funds.
At least that is what happens to me!!!!!

Outstanding.
We have all on staying in the Championship, having scored 13 goals from open play in 41 games, so talk of the Champions League is only going to add to the current mockery this club is under.
Ambitious in name only eh?

I was all for this guy's enthusiasm, but that line just makes him look like a twonk.
Football club ambitions should be aligned to weight loss - concentrate on hitting the small, achievable goals before you start talking about the designer clothes three sizes smaller!
Well if he had said, Our first aim will be to build a team in the 1st division and hopefully in 5 or 6 years we will attempt to get back into the Championship and really establish ourselves there. You wouldn't be very happy would you?

I think it's harsh, it's his first bad run. They never give managers time these days especially at that club. Disgusting really. That being said, he did probably go there too soon. Maybe he lost the dressing room. What next for Frank?
I agree it is harsh after one bad spell. Olly at Man U was went through a bad patch and speculation that he was for the chop. They stuck by him and look where they are now.
Trouble is Ambramovic is hard nosed and won't hang around.
However I also agree this job came too early for Frank and he knew what he was getting into

And Lampard?
So true. Cocu and Lampard couldn't get him motivated. Why should Rooney be any different. Surely keeping your career alive should be motivation enough

Funny how few line ups have Knight in the starting 11, yet over on the Knight thread, he’s first on the team sheet.
Don't you know anything about football? Surely you have to pick the right team in the right formation to beat that weeks opposition.
Well it is the same here, just because knight is first on the team sheet in his own thread, doesn't mean he will be on this thread. Duh ?

Something quite sensational tonight - Ayinger Celebrator.
A doppelbock that just threatens to malt me to death, then pretty well goes ahead and does it. It's not strong by any means (6.7%) but it's like being hit by a shopping trolley after someone's filled it up in the fruit aisle. Simply wonderful.
You have eaten the flake already!!

Hunters - have watched first 2 episodes, really great viewing so far.
Tarrantino-esque, but not to excess.
I have watched the whole first series.
I also commented to friends that it is very like a Tarrantino production.
Enjoyed it a lot, just because it is so different.

It feels sorta 'UK' made for TV to me.
Comparable to Line of Duty, Luther.. All kinda watchable, but I really don't get what all the fuss is about.
It's a step up from The Bill, but if you compare it to The Wire, The Sopranos, Gomorrah, True Detective... even Ray Donovan etc then its simply world's away.
I think it is a case of "one mans poison". We all have our favourites and our dislikes.
Cobra I thought was interesting and thought provoking. Not the best script or acting, but certainly better than Ray Donovan (In my opinion)
