I noticed that he identified as a derby player in the interview and it seemed significant. Hope so. Didn't know his contract is up in the summer. Would be a really exciting signing. Tenacious, skillful, reasonably quick and strong with an eye for a forward pass. He's a great full back and could be a pacier option at centre back. Hey guys I saw on twitter take with pinch of salt but I saw Hayden Roberts will become free agent in the summer as his contract runs out on the summer.
So maybe we might be able to keep him permeantly.

If he wanted to make it here he should have focused on his attention on improving his footballing abilities over the summer, rather than his baking skills.

Can remember at least two occasions he beat his man and put a decent cross in.

We need everyone we can get, but we already have Collins as a false 9. Was hoping for some hairy arsed, aggressive, hard running box to box player as we already have too many nice boys who can pass a ball but can’t run fast or far enough. But with all the restrictions we’re are prolly years from attracting that type of player. We do however need more Knights and less Birds.

Hi lads, Spurs fan here!

I watch quite a lot of our u21 games so hopefully I can give a fair assessment of where he's at and what he might bring you.
He's a very versatile player, he mainly plays CM or DM but has filled in at LB (our u21s dont have a natural LB) a lot and played at LM. Conte even started him as a false 9 in place of Kane in our post-worldcup friendlies but before you get your hopes up he's not a natural striker! IMO like a lot of creative players his best role is possibly AM in a free role but he's not played there much recently because our u21 team has quite a lot of forwards to accommodate. He was loaned out to Pompey a couple of seasons ago and I believe the club have had loan offers for him pretty much every window since but they've been blocked by the club for various reason which has frustratingly stalled his development a bit. He's got great range of passing and not sure how many of them are on youtube but he's scored some unbelievable direct freekicks over the years in the youth teams. The youth coaches have said he's one of the smartest players they've coached and according to the Pompey manager when he was there he's very easy to coach, "You only have to tell him an instruction once. He's like a sponge and you'll tell him something once and then he'll be doing it. He's so easy to coach, a coach's dream."
 
Hopefully it all goes ahead and he does well for you and maybe he can go on loan again with you next season in the championship ?

I reckon Warne will eventually want to play 3 at the back and he’d be excellent on the left side of that, with Cashin in the middle.

Knew we wouldnt win as soon as saw Didzy wasnt starting and it was all a bit meh. Not that disappointed with such a small squad. As soon as PW saw wasnt working subbed off key players for Saturday. 
Good points - dobbin not on fire so hopefully no recall tomorrow, unbeaten run broken against PL opposition not in league, none of youngsters really shone so hopefully no late bids
Bad points - Collins shouting at everyone else (just hate it - look at yourself first perhaps), Max (hope not too serious), most stupid away fans (you've only come to see us, being typical cockneys giving it the big I am when they beat a league 1 team of youngsters and oldies 2-0) 
Anyway bank the cash and move on. A year ago very nearly out of existence. Love my Derby ??
