My gut still tells me that yes, we will.
Letting Derby go under ultimately doesn’t help anyone, EFL included.
I have a lot of thoughts about everything that’s gone on/is going on but it is probably best that I keep them to myself.
All I will say is that the supporters & staff have been let down at every turn.

I can't disagree with this statement as I can't prove otherwise, by the same token I'm not sure this is something you can prove either.
Having visited the Sheffield Wednesday forum there isn't a lot of love on there for Steve Gibson, I would image Liverpool fans would also not agree having been on the end of his legal action along with other clubs. There is also a small matter of the Man United fanbase that have been questioning the claims in their support for Wayne Rooney.
You can only base your views on what you see and hear, and right now Forest, Leeds and bizarrely Bristol City fans have been very vocal in their support of Steve Gibson, although this will be down to rivalry....except for Bristol City which is once again just bizarre.
I don't know the guy, won't claim to know his life story and the shenanigans he may have been in, but what he has done against this club is unforgivable.
Make no mistake, he is not responsible for the position we are in, he has been responsible for prolonging the situation with his frivolous claims which let's be honest, the club were never the intended target in all this, it was Mel Morris.
Let's also not forget, nowhere would you find Boro fans complaining at the time in 18/19, Tony Pulis was the target of your frustrations and rightly so, only now that Gibson's claims became public are Boro fans out in force to support their owner, which is commendable.
We have seen the benefits of a siege mentality ourselves recently, even clubs such as Leeds which we dislike with a passion, you have to applaud the way they defend their club and anyone connected.
End of the day, it's quite possible the club could have been sold long before we entered administration had we not had these claims over us, they have been the main stumbling block. That's 12 points back on the board, no Embargos and we could potentially be challenging the top 6 with you this season.
I know Boro fans will argue justice has been served, especially if we go down, but relegation is not a punishment the EFL can just hand out.
If you want to hear tales of how great Steve is, what a gentleman and upstanding person in the community, you will not find that on here, so don't be shocked to read plenty of vitriol aimed towards Gibson and in our eyes it's fully deserved. Every single bit of it.

Think it was an excellent interview by Chris Coles earlier. Asked all the tough questions and really pushed Andrew Hosking. RD really need to give him the big interviews for as long as they have him (they won’t have him for long as I think he’s destined for bigger things)
As for Quantuma, we will see what happens in the next 3 weeks but I have no reason to doubt them. I think some will be eating humble pie, they’ve been blamed by a lot of the fans for delays missing deadlines etc, clearly they had a plan and we’re executing, Reading between the lines the EFL we’re aware of that plan to some degree and then what happened over the Boro and Wycombe claims was a clear major curveball. For all the smoke and mirrors from the EFL and Boro it clearly was the main issue. This has been a bloody complex mess left behind by Morris and thankfully he’s moved to clean up a major part of it. Doesn’t forgive what he’s done, likewise I feel no different about Gibson as he’s nearly pushed our club to the wall for a personal battle of egos. They are both Bamfords, but at least Gibson pays his debts, he may be a Bamford but fully understand why Boro fans give him hero status and defend him to the hilt.
Finally we have some optimism off the pitch, could we possibly now see a preferred bidder named, funding to the end of the season to lift our embargo restrictions enough to sign a couple of freebies, Derby survive relegation, a takeover completed that pays off creditors via a CVA in line with EFL rules meaning no -15 points deduction, we extend all our players contracts bring in some astute signings, and we start next season in the championship on zero points - possibly even contemplating a playoff push?! Starting to think this could be possible now. Can you imagine?!

A pure, raw and honest insight of what OUR MANAGER has gone through in his life.
Has made me love him even more.
A genuinely class bloke who’s worked through his struggles and become a brilliant man.
Proud to have him at the helm, and I hope that we can keep him for as long as possible!

It is a terrible and desperate state of affairs when my preferred bidder is Mike Ashley so, if he is dropping out, I hope it is a bargaining ploy. Him buying the club is ultimately the least complicated option with a wealthy Brit who has run a Premier League (or Championship-winning) club before and will pass the proof of funds and fit and proper person test. The lack of complications for him means it is more likely for any deal to go through more quickly, and we desperately need a speedy deal before our entire playing staff is asset-stripped, knowing they are almost all out of contact this summer so allowed to negotiate deals.
Also, we need a savvy bruiser to fight our corner against the EFL, Boro and Wycombe etc.  Next, there is clear motivation for why he would want to buy us and the reason ties in to making us successful, even if that's a vanity project. That's what owning a football club is. I do not understand why the American groups are interested when the costs are so high. It's all very well saying Ashley's bid is lower than the Binnie's, but at least we do know Ashley has the money and can move quickly. And the administrators should be able to factor that in, in terms of getting the best deal for the creditors. Any money is better than no money...

Am I a fan of the Q&A style statement?
In truth, most definitely not.  But in the case of MM's latest offering, I have to say it was beautifully laid out.  Rather pleasing on the eye, one could say.
Notwithstanding the above, would I agree in general, to those comments as quoted by @RadioactiveWaste?
I would be most satisfied if I were to never see another open letter/official statement written in the Q&A format, and am therefore happy to concede that I do indeed agree with the commenter's comments.

Wayne Rooney, every time you think he cannot go up any higher in our estimations he goes and absolutely smashes it. I’ve said it so many times but there is genuinely no one else I’d rather have at the club. The man oozes class and commitment.

I was incredibly critical of appointing Rooney after last season. But he's been a pillar and a credit to the club throughout.
Get him a statue, even if we do go down.

Wait, please tell me we're not questioning Rooney's loyalty now? The bloke has been through more in his year in charge that some will go in their entire career and stood by us when it could quite easily have gone tits up with the academy players leaving him looking hopeless!
Any Championship manager is taking the Everton job, not one of them would turn it down, but for Rooney he has that extra connection being his boyhood club and won't know if this opportunity would ever come around again.
If this was a Birmingham City, I would get the anger but it's more than that, and if you're honest and putting yourself in that position you would do the same.
Of course we all sat here want what's best for this club, right now that is for Rooney to stay, Rooney has to do what is best for his career and family and Cheshire to Everton is an easier commute which = more family time. Let's not forget here the blokes a human, just like us all.
I hate that he's even being asked, we know the answer and it puts him in an awkward position, if he sits there and says I swear on my kids life I'm not going to Everton and reveals a Ram tattoo on his hairy backside, the Everton hierarchy would get the message and leave him be. He would also look a fool saying yes I want the job, Everton may not even be interested and it's just the media, what does that say to the players on the eve of a game with their local rivals whilst the clubs existence is under threat.
I seriously HATE, that has even been brought up, especially today as we don't need any negativity around the players and management.

I know I am biased but this article is fantastic and explains the problem exactly.
It is accurate, funny, and places our situation in the wider footballing context to make other clubs fans sit up and listen.
It's the article to share when we are under fire from outsiders who don't understand the situation.
I don't trust the Daily Mail but this is a stroke of genius.
