Figured this thread needed some light relief ? 

I've really warmed to CK and would be very disappointed now if he wasn't our new owner. 

It's felt like a slow, drawn-out death for the past couple of years.
Ashley could 'save' us but it would only lead to an extension of that feeling. We'd be 'secure' but kept under lock and chain, miserable, depleted, feeding off scraps, begging for him to sell up to someone who'll treat us better.
All extraneous spending cut, Academy status down to Category 3, no Rams TV, stadium falling to bits, training facilities down to the most basic of standards...
It'd just be replacing one hell with another.

Although an avid reader, I rarely contribute to this site, but couldn’t let the season pass without a ‘Shout Out’ for Rams TV.
Throughout a traumatic season, although in many ways a hugely enjoyable one, there have been many accolades for the Team, Coaching Staff and back room staff. Part of that back room staff has been Rams TV and what a part they have played this season, although rarely mentioned in those accolades.
Dare I say that Owen Bradley has been one of Mel Morris’s best signings! I admired him on Radio Derby but he has grown to a new level over the last year or so (despite occasional dress malfunctions!). Always professional, reasoned and grounded (Mr Dawes at RD take note), his commentaries and interviews are always a good listen. Shaun Barker has added to mix this year and has been very listenable. A great combination.
I am sure that our potential new owner has been avidly watching their work in the USA over the last few weeks and hopefully, after the players, he will ensure that they are signed up for a prolonged period.
I don’t know if Owen reads this site, but if not, and someone knows him, please pass on, at least my thanks for his great work this year. He is the spokesperson for Rams TV but obviously has a great team behind him.

WTF, have you just activated some Russian sleeper agents?

His business model completely ditched the academy, hired woeful managers on long contracts (Pardew), and despite having money, his net spend was little to none. Kirchner seems like he has more of an actual long term plan for running a football team, Ashley is a ruthless opportunist, he could have bought us months ago should he have chosen to, not the sort of owner we should be welcoming, in my opinion. 

Its all over, City will be kicking themselves - they had one foot in the final until they fell apart.
Two good semi-finals though, Liverpool vs Real Madrid should be a good final as well for the neutral.

City bottled it a bit. They panicked in possession and gave away too many fouls. If they have a weakness, it’s that they are not that physical and so they resorted to petulant shoves and trips.
Fair play to Real. They were terrific when it mattered.

For those who are into gaming - play the new Lego Star Wars game, a Skywalker Saga.
I play most Lego games with my son, as they’re great games with fun concepts. My goodness, this game is very good though. I’ve played more on my own after he’s gone to bed than with him! Great fun, one of the best Star Wars games made in my opinion.

It's unbelievable how the best English CB cannot get in the England squad ahead of Coady and Guehi.
How Southgate ranks him 7th best CB at best (also behind Maguire, Stones, Mings, White) I'll never know.

I wasn't at Blackpool away but the march has to be the highlight of the season for me, closely followed by what looked like a great weekend on the northwest coast.

For me, if we get the takeover done, Rooney commits to staying and Curtis Davies and Eiran Cashin sign new deals I will be over the moon.

Nice to see Tomori doing really well in Italy ?
I wonder whether he wins the league there he'll fancy a new challenge and a shot at the League One title ?
