Finally realised why Gibson's vendetta against Derby ramped up just over 2 years ago

Once he'd sacked his chauffeur for calling his wife 'duck nuts' in 2019 he needed someone else to persecute

Wish I'd seen this before - you couldn't make it up ?

Now the chauffeur had been sacked for over two years, who is his wife getting a bit of jiggy with? Handsome baldy millionaire based in the Midlands?

If it turns out it's all been over nookie I think I'd laugh. Then have a breakdown.

    Gibsons old chauffeur at work.....

Interesting how its worded - the EFL are desperate to avoid to being grilled further or be subject to further scrutiny by the Political Stakeholders (MPs). Clearly they have come to some agreement in principal with the administrators over the weekend which is now being formalized ahead of the new meeting tomorrow where they hope to 'resolve the outstanding issues to the satisfaction of all parties'.

To me it looks like a deal has been done which the EFL, Gibson & Couhig are all happy with or they wouldn't be wording it as they have above. If they then shaft us again tomorrow after postponing the meeting with MPs it is only going to lead to even more pain & scrutiny when another meeting with them is required.

Therefore I can only see this as a positive and wouldn't be surprised to see an agreement announced in the next '48 hours'.....

    The pressure continues to build.

If I were the administrators, and if I knew one of the bidders (Rich Riley) were prepared to step in, I’d push it right to the wire and refuse to come to a settlement until the very last minute. Really test the EFL’s, Boro’s and Wycombe’s nerve. See how willing they are to be seen as football’s biggest villains.

Agreed take it right to the wire - the EFL & pube head are wobbling already. Keep up the pressure and momentum for another 10 days up to the end of the month & they will buckle. If the Admins confirm details of funding to end of season too soon the pressure will subside on & give EFL & pube head chance to regroup again, strengthening their resolve.

Keep the pressure on - the spineless buffoons will break....

  4. I'm no legal expert and fully prepared to be shot down in flames, but given the impasse we appear to be at and liquidation looking an increasingly likely option should we not try call the EFL's bluff?

From everything I'm reading on here the law of the land is on our side with the proposal the administrators tabled to the EFL last week. The big down sides with following this route as I see them are the loss of 15 points next season & also the risk to our 'golden share' - a place in the EFL. The positives would be is that it is legally enforceable & would also completely end Middlesbrough & Wycombe's chances of getting anything from us.

Whilst another 15 point deduction isn't ideal in the grand scheme of things, if thats the difference between having a club and not having a club that is something I'd be willing to swallow. The loss of our 'golden share' is something else entirely, however if we chose to go down that route & given the negative PR they have received over the last couple  of days would the EFL really enforce that?

Firstly they'd be seen as the sole reason for forcing one of their oldest & largest members into liquidation - do they really want that blood on their hands? Secondly if they did try to do that the legal battle that would follow would bring all their dirty washing into the public domain & also highlight that their own insolvency rules do not follow the law of the land. We'd appear to have a really strong legal case for them not be allowed to expel us from the league if taken to court.

Given that we increasingly look to being backed into a corner where liquidation could be inevitable anyway & although the above is a really high stakes move, gambling with the very existence of the club, do we really have that much left to lose?

    This worries me

The MP's won't really have a clue about the situation & will get fobbed off by Trevor Birch bulls**t

They'll come back and say they tried but we have to let the process play out

You can see it coming a mile off.....

Don't want to claim to be Nostradamus or anything and wish I was wrong but if anybody has faith in our MPs to put the EFL under any pressure don't hold your breath

Strong, decisive legal action is the only thing that will make the EFL ?themselves. I like the idea of the injunction that has been suggested - Gibson, Parry & the numpty from Wycombe will all vanish pronto if we can get any half decent legal representative. Let's crowd fund Nick De Marco if he hasn't been appointed already......

Completely fobbed off - went exactly as I said it would this morning ?

When you put people in a room with little to no background knowledge they will ask the questions they have been sent to ask in good faith but will have no context to challenge or further question the guff that the EFL peddle.

They then just come away with their tails between their legs & repeat back what we have already known, shrugging their shoulders saying 'well we did out best' , 'what more could we do?'

We need to keep up the pressure & not let this go away build the noise until it reaches a crescendo where the EFL have answer their case in front of a real heavyweight - can we do a crowd funding exercise and get Nick De Marco on the case?

If we could do a pay per view live stream of him hauling Parry & Gibson over the coals then the revenues would probably keep the club afloat for another 18 months alone - I'd pay serious money to see him make those little curly haired scrotes squirm  ?

Which is why something 'newsworthy' needs doing. Anyone up for chaining themselves to part of the stadium?

I fear unless resolved very soon something very 'newsworthy' may happen when we go to Boro in Feb

Assuming we are still in existence by then of course......

We'd go into administration and -12 points , any potential new owner would be able to buy US debt free (but would need to buy / rent PP from uncle Mel).... It might be the only way out of this mess

I'd actually take that right now, just sack Rooney first & then start again from scratch. Not really bothered about League 1 - just cut the cancer out the club & start the recovery....

  9. Because our esteemed glorious leader El Wazzo thinks he is the next Pep Guardiola

Because he has seen Man City employ it tactically at times last season he thinks it will make him look like a genius if he is doing it

The problem is he doesn't have a team capable of playing with the sophistication required to make the tactic work or experienced assistants to tell him what a fool he is being. No experienced manager would dream of doing what he is doing right now.

Just shows how clueless he really is - the sooner he decides he's had enough using our club as his own personal plaything & disappears back home to Coleen the better

  10. Win, lose or draw on Saturday this has to be Rooney's last game in charge

He's shown nothing to warrant he deserves to be in charge next season & if I was the new owner I certainly wouldn't trust him with a penny of my money to fund the rebuild.

Can anyone name the last Derby County manager not called Paul Jewel who lost 6 on the bounce & kept his job?

Whatever division we are in we need an experienced manager with a proven system of play who knows the players he needs to make that system work

Forget all the Hollywood appointments lets make sure we get a manager who knows what he is doing whatever division we are in

Rooney still being in charge next season is a far bigger worry for me than whatever happens on Saturday
