Rooney said 48 hours so that is Derby’s code word for not happening 

Can't understand why anyone thinks we are bringing players in? Or will be bringing players in?
We have just manage to scrape enough pennies together to pay our current crop of players.
The takeover is quite clearly not happening and Morris is not putting any more of his money into the club. So much so that he just didn't pay the players.
 

Have we got a sell on clause?

Stephen Pearce was on Radio Derby last week saying we would only sell if it made financial sense.
Selling one of the best 16 year olds in the country for £1 million makes no financial sense at all.
I don't care what financial situation we are in this is disgusting.
If he's that good. Which he obviously is (already training with the first team and Rooney said he's one of the best in training)
Then you keep hold of him and get him in the first team next year.
Just like Birmingham did with Jude Bellingham. He was on of the best 16 year olds in the country. One season in the first team and he's off for £35 million. 
I mean it's pretty clear that everything Stephen Pearce said on the Radio was a lie.

I paid for my season ticket in full for this season 20/21 in part to help fund the club in the short term with the knowledge that this season was extremely unlikely to have any supporters attending, whilst knowing that season 21/22 was paid for if we are able to attend.
for myself I want to be fully vaccinated before I will be attending and I also want everyone else vaccinated. It will be interesting to see how many business will be insisting on that in the future. 

Surely no transfers/loans can be sanctioned by the club until the ownership of the club is sorted?

Allardyce going odds on for a short while earlier made me realise my true feelings about wanting Schteeeve back.
He knows the club, has been keeping up with us, could instil much needed confidence in the players, improve them all with his coaching, and get us set up, playing good, attractive, attacking football.
It’s probably just the last remaining parts of my soul clinging on to 2014 but I feel as though we have very similar players to Mac1 and he could get them to fit in well to his beloved 433 (albeit without Martin)

Got sacked by Derby for a reason.

I suspect McClaren would follow his usual cycle by presiding over a sudden upturn in both performances and results followed by the usual downturn, lack of a plan B and the inevitable parting of the ways.
Time to move on.

'What would Mac do with this team'?
give them confidence and an identity. Play good football, score goals, probably concede some too but we seem to do that no matter who's in charge anyway.

As each day passes I think worsening things about Chris Martin. I am currently at ‘wishing him a career ending injury’ level. Can we please, please have some threads which do not include the need to mention bloody Chris Martin.

rooney isn’t fit enough for 45 minutes leading effectively by himself never mind 90 
and we have no quarter back who can ping it aka the Thorne roll, u could argue perhaps bielik but .. he ain’t no Thorne 
so that’s plan A out of the window 
I don’t remember him having a plan B 
 

Given a lot of people seem to be wanting Mac3, What would he do with the current team, and would it work?
This would be my prediction.

The main problem is obviously the absence of the icon Chris Martin. I think he'd try and get Rooney to play a similar role. He has the vision and passing ability to play there and his pace is probably similar to Martins. But no one can hold the ball up as good as CM. But as we saw last season, Martin was ineffective without players around him up top and Rooney would be the same.
The other main problem is the 3 midfielders. During Mac1, the midfield was so good it could dominate other teams midfield even if they were outnumbered.
I actually think we have better quality wingers now than under Mac and I think they'd flourish playing his style.

Mac3 is a terrible idea. It's not worked for us twice now, it would be mental to think it is currently our best option.

No no no. Good coach. Can't manage. Permanent signings were poor. Only succeeded temporarily 'cos he inherited Clough's signings. We'd have a good half a season then implode again. And he snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with the Newcastle job debacle. Still can't believe we had him back after that.

Seriously, He would do so much better with these players.
At the very least he would show some passion.

Just wanted to celebrate this kid who has introduced himself in the  rams around the world section of this forum. Many will know of his super-quick goal clips provided on Twitter, this South Korean lad appeared recently on Rams Review Podcast (where he politely tolerated being called Lee the whole time, which is his surname/family name)
Somewhat bizzarely, he became a passionate Ram since the play-off final against QPR (must be drawn towards injustice and tragedy) and gets up at 3 or 4am to watch matches.
He also writes pieces promoting our club in South Korea.  I'm not on Twitter but I'm sure many have welcomed him already. Hopefully we can reach out and help him visit Pride Park one day. I think he will feature more on ramsreview pod so a relationship is developing there.  Hope the club are aware too and might assist.

Over the coming months I'll be adding over 500 items so far that weve collected to preserve for generations to come. These items are at the hands of the Heratage trust and Derby County collection should they want to use them for future displays for fans to enjoy. Be nice to put them all in a club museum but unfortunately one doesnt exist at the moment. If anyone has any shirts please get in touch, we will be happy to purchase any items we haven't managed to pick up yet and preserve those in our collection as well. We have duplicates we are willing to trade with to fill our collection if a swap is more desirable. Thank you and hope everyone enjoys the photos ??
