SamUltraRam got a reaction from Derby4Me in The Administration Thread
Just checked the BBC Sport website and the Daily Telegraph and I can't find any mention of a Parliamentary discussion about us that took up 40 minutes of MP's time ??
Hasn't John Percy got a mole in Parliament like he has in the EFL ?

It’s good news. The whole point is not for the MPs to get the EFL to settle today - they won’t - but to be part of the pressure ratcheting up on the EFL to get to the point of agreement.
So far the EFL have interfered in all the wrong places and not interfered when they should have done. They can’t ignore the MPs and won’t, especially when they know that an independent regulator, which they don’t want, is on the Government’s agenda. So MPs pressure on them is both uncomfortable for them and important for us. They need to be encouraged to find solutions and that’s what the meeting will help to do.

Agreed, plus when I heard Rooney in the post match mentioning the backroom staff I thought there's also many DCFC employees who could be out of a job because the EFL won't approve a legitimate takeover offer

Seconded. I have never checked back on here so often. I’ve been on my phone so much checking back my wife thinks I’m having an affair though so on the basis of the ‘legal’ challenges from Wycombe and Middlesbrough I am now taking legal action against the mods and you @CBRammette for starting this topic ?

Just time out to thank the Mods at this time. Cant imagine how difficult it must be to keep on top of the volume of posts also at a time when feelings are running high. Think we'd all be lost without this forum so thank you

Given the speed at which the EFL arbitration processes move when they involve DCFC we'll need to find the funds to keep ourselves going until 2024 before a takeover can be concluded

Mel could have swerved around the minus 12 for going into administration, and sold the club (inc debts) for a quid. He could even have helped further, by settling all/part of the debts beforehand, thus making the club a more attractive proposition for someone to take on.
For reasons known only to him, he decided against this approach, and bailed out.
I'm no expert... and no personal acquaintance of Mr Morris... but I suspect that there is little hope of him bunging the club now!

Incredible crowd noise - this is what it means to him to us fans - this is why this club has to be saved EFL

Problem is clubs don't normally pay the entire fee in one go do they, it's normally paid in instalments which isn't much help to us

The potential for other clubs getting into trouble is why we have to keep fighting to pick up every point right up to the end of the season - just in case !!
