If we can get these signings done then I take it as a massive positive because these 8 lads have turned down other offers in some instances because they want to come here and be a part of it. That’s a great start.

Depth is our problem, particularly in defence. These signings will address that and enable us to provide a base for our talented youngsters to flourish. If Rooney signs all 8 I’m expecting us to stay up, I’m even expecting us to threaten the top half if he has anything about him. 

If we sack him we will end up with Jake Buxton as manager….I love Jake, but do I want him as the manager….?

Whenever the fans start to get disgruntled and the talk of a protest starts, you always get word from the club like this. It’s just to dampen the flames imo. Same old, same old. They will give some fancy jargon that half the fans can’t understand and then go silent until the next threat of protests. I hope I am wrong, but this seems all too familiar.

It would be good if the attendees could agree on the questions so there are no repeats and stick to the point in areas where a response should be forthcoming

My hope is that this meeting turns out to be open and fair. If Morris bullshits I would want him challenged, he and Pearce have some real questions to answer but it has to be done in the right way. A bunch of yes men around the table is not going to help.. For the record, I don’t know any of the participants, so have no idea IF they are yes men..

Tom Carroll is a quality central midfielder. With all the chat on here about Bird not being good enough I'd have thought most people would be more than happy with this potential addition?
 
I think he'd be a great addition,  it's also positive that players of his quality are interested in joining.  

it is a gamble on when the EFL accept that there is no breach and remove the embargo though.  Many seem confident that even when worked traditionally there will be no breach; so why is it taking so long for either the club to produce them or for EFL to take the embargo off if they have already been presented?

Well based on the amount of older people that tend to be targeted for telephone, text, email etc scams he is absolutely correct to hold that view - wherever the money is thieves will attempt to get at it and with a staggeringly high success rate.

Mine too. He flatly refuses to buy anything online as he thinks he will get scammed and when he goes in shops/pubs etc he wants to pay in cash

There are a few players who once they find their 'home' then they settle and show the sort of consistent form which meant other clubs originally invested in them.
Sometimes the pieces just fit. 
Shouldn't be an expensive gamble and Rooney will obviously know him so lets hope he can polish this diamond.
