whiteroseram got a reaction from Premier ram in Shane Nicholson
Getting ahead of ourselves I know, but once new owners are hopefullly in place, and hopefully our finances are stabilising, I hope we as fans can persuade the new leadership to bring SN back to the club

whiteroseram reacted to Yani P in Bad behaviour by Derby (& coventry) fans again
It's a shame that the great rep of our away supporters gets tarnished by brain dead morons..no doubt similar morons involved from Coventry as well..

Totally agree and that's why I asked the follow up question about it in the latest list of questions that Rams Trust have sent to EFL. Not going to let them off the hook that easily.

Agreed, when your rules are holding young players development back its time to have a good look at yourself
I was disappointed (as if my expectations weren't low enough) of the EFLs reply to question in that essentially saying it was our choice to bring in a few experienced frees this summer instead of promoting them... Bol1@%s
Imagine the the difference for Cashin playing amongst Curtis and Jags, compared to Cashin-Brown at the back!
I seem to recall Bolton pulled out of fixtures saying their youth team getting destroyed by senior teams was actually detrimental to their development, that's how we'd have been without Jags, Curtis, Stears, Bolldock, Morriston etc
Rant over.... For now

So much of what's gone on with the club must have effected the top end academy sides
Like has been mentioned, U23s and U18 have been stripped of top players for a lot of matches, but also for training too. For example Cashin has played for U23s as he can't play senior, but I'm assuming he's been training with the seniors more due to numbers, so they may not have trained together as much as would be ideal
Then there's the motivation others have mentioned, must be tough as an U23 talent knowing whatever you do, you can't play for the seniors
Theres also other factors like injuries ect, but I think that's the main crux of it

Indeed.
I think we'd have seen glimpses of Cashin (and possibly Liam Thompson and Luke Plange) in the first team this season if it wasn't for the EFL's ridiculous 'player of professional standing' rules.

whiteroseram reacted to Tyler Durden in Shane Nicholson
It's a testament to his own personal resilience that he's recognised where he was in his life and then turned that around to a positive outcome helping other people whom have found themselves in the same place.

My daughter said it was well known in Derby that he was into drugs at the time, so credit to him that he has turned his life round and can share his story and helo other young peole in the same situation.

whiteroseram reacted to Crewton in U23's v Crystal Palace
It's one thing that, possibly, Mel Morris had a point about. Instead of working with him, other Championship club owners have meekly accepted the status quo.
-
whiteroseram reacted to Day in U23's v Crystal Palace
Makes you laugh, Derby v Palace U23s would obviously be denying Sky Sports of thousands of viewers of an Arsenal game.
Will be in that fantastic TV deal the EFL signed.

As others have said, don't underestimate the impact of Covid. There is still a pandemic on - despite what BoJo may try to have us believe - and people are still dying. Sometimes, there are more important things than physically attending football matches. I know I am at risk of coming across as a tad over-cautious, but as I know people it has affected, it has really spooked me - and I've had my 2 jabs & booster already.
I just think that there are many others who are staying away altogether right now, to protect their and their families' health. Were it not for this, I would expect the crowds to be at least in the 22k-25k range.

whiteroseram reacted to G STAR RAM in Marshall in GOAL
Jagielka would have challenged their guy if Allsop had stayed on his line.
If you're coming that far for the ball, you take the ball and everyone around it.
Was very poor goalkeeping but on the balance over his 4 league games he is still in credit.
