I think the Rooney interview before the match at the weekend he mentioned how our attack is focussed around CKR and his strengths. I don't care if people think he has limitations, the guy is so passionate for his team and he lets that power his game. Can't wait until fans are allowed in to show their appreciation for a player like him. It should turn him into a Super Saiyan! ? 

What if we had,had Kazim as back up to Martin when Chrissie was injured back in 2015?
We would have gone up,no doubt in my mind as we would have been able to continue with the target/hold up man into the latter half of that season instead of altering our game to suit Bent when he came to us on loan.

I think that's probably our best team on paper. It's a hard one to call, though.

It'll be interesting see how Ibe does, how our promising youth develops, and how things change when we bring in a striker.

I've probably missed someone really obvious out ? The youth players are starting to slip back out of contention though, which Mel wouldn't be happy about 

Appreciate trying to fit everyone in is difficult, verging on impossible, but Sibley not even making the squad is a bit harsh. And Dutch Mike, even though he's had a nightmare start, isn't going to improve by not playing. Not a criticism, just a comment.

Indeed, form, and time on the pitch might find that blend and might look completely different to this.

Apart from Shinnie at left back (I'd still go with Forsyth at the moment, for all his weaknesses... at least he is an experienced fullback) I thought "that's not bad at all".  And then I realised - hold on - that team has no place for Bird, Sibley or England's record goalscorer. And I suppose that means we might have something like a decent squad in a couple of month's time when everybody is fit!?
