Clowes has got my full backing whatever he does,but ive been a fan since 1968 and can honestly say ive never been as cant be bothered to go as i am now( .will still be there though). Never been one for sacking managers and was not a Warne fan when appointed but was willing to back him, but getting very close to wanting him gone. I think if he does get us promoted to the championship he will not take us any further, but i will be there tonight supporting my team.

I'd love to see him do something radical, but we know he won't. Include Brown, include Robinson etc. These guys are the future, not the old men who aren't performing and won't be here next year.

This situation is so disheartening after the togetherness and impressive support of the survival season. I have wanted Paul Warne to succeed, hoped that his football would be more exciting than Liam Roseniors’, and hoped the atmosphere would continue. Sadly none of this has been the case. I have seen glimpses of good football, but all too often it has been poor and unreflective of some of the players we have available. The responsibility for this can only lie at the managers door. The Exeter performance was better overall but the atmosphere still muted as if the majority of supporters were celebrating a win despite their own feelings that enough was enough! 
On reflection I recall thinking that when Paul Warne got the job was his heart really in it…. but have supported him to this point. I do think however he now has the air of someone who feels he has made the wrong choice but is living with it, trying to put a brave face on, say the right thing. This is not good enough for Derby County we need to be playing football we are proud of and a manager who can provide this.

Going back to the original point though, it's no more stable to continue with an unpopular manager through dwindling attendances then it is to replace them and try something new. 
I'd imagine from a cost stand point, the lost revenue of a 4000-5000 drop in fans would soon end up costing us much more than paying Warne and his entourage and parting ways. 

I did tell you all unfortunately… Warne isnt going anywhere soon.

Equally, would we be a stable club if fans stop attending pride park in their droves and the players stop playing for the manager?

Just proves we need Steve Mac back.

I would have thought that after more than a year we could at least see a plan developing. I just can’t see it 🤔

I wonder if he’ll still be making that stand next season when our attendances drop below 20,000 and revenues slump. I for one won’t be renewing my ST or spending my hard earned money to watch the garbage I’ve seen. I can’t stand Warneball.

Sack Warne and hire someone with a better brand of football. If I could see any sort of progress being made I wouldn't want him gone... but we seem to be going backwards.

Warne is a poor technical coach. There is no future with him that leads to success.
But Clowes is seemingly making his stand.
He got rid of Rosenior which was a huge error, but one Clowes is reluctant to admit by doubling down and sticking with Warne.
 
 

Not bothering to go tomorrow as I feel that apathetic. Warne doesn't appear to know how to turn it around and in his post match interviews he's blaming everyone but himself. I'm not wasting another £60 on two tickets and a quick dash from the train station to the ground. 

I totally agree…normally. I think generally patience is needed etc etc. But this seems different some how. The football is so dire at such a low level. I have stopped going to games for the first time. I continued watching the Rams under Jewell and Tango man, but I can’t motivate myself currently to watch this dross.

I don’t think it matters if they’re a rookie or experienced. What matters is we have a good philosophy throughout the club. A joined up way of playing throughout all of the age groups. A philosophy that allows the fans to see a plan and see something that resembles entertainment. 
Nobody expects us to breeze through each game and walk the league but we want something to get behind and something that shows there’s a long term plan for the identity of the team.

Maybe it’s just League 1? Maybe the Championship is just better football generally and you see less running, more passing and more skill 
I would say they’ve had moments under Warne where it has been lovely football. Gives me hope that we may see it more consistently 

After Saturday I fully understand you.  It's going to be hard dragging myself to Pride Park tomorrow night - I probably will just to avoid the matchday thread! Of course I could avoid both and do something completely different which is very tempting but....

I think we might be better off moving Fozzy to centre half and play Sibbo at left back 😊
