As with Kaide, I have mixed emotions about this. On the one hand, if the £3M figure for Kaide is true and we're securing decent add-ons, it's hard to walk away. Likewise if Manure are offering silly money for the others. That said, it's such a shame that kids this young are leaving well before they've even had a squeak at first team football. 
On a separate note, the powers that be need to have a look at the current regs. In this post-Brexit apocalyptic and dystopian new world order, allowing Premiership clubs to raid lower division academies might not bode well for EFL clubs unless the mandatory compo levels are looked at.  

Always worth seeing those goals again.....

Was at the Manure game. My first visit to the BBG....convinced the goal was offside but it wasn’t......got teased a lot by some Manure fans on the way back on the train that were heading back south too ?

What makes US different to any other club ? The bigger fish are ALWAYS looking for that meal. Get over yourselves , this happens up and down the country , current rules mean there is nothing we can do about it disappointing as that mah be, Instead of venting your spleen on the lad , point it at the people who make the rules .........

Can’t fault someone for betting on themselves. As good as I think we are for academy graduates, he could well spend the rest of his life thinking ‘what if I took that move to Liverpool’.
Not something you want to happen, it really is a profession where sometimes that one chance is all it takes. So many of these players have the talent but don’t get that opportunity to prove themselves. Could get one sub appearance at Liverpool where he makes an impression etc etc
We’ll take the money for someone who hasn’t done anything yet. Maybe it will haunt us all forever, maybe we’ll never think about the lad again. Best of luck to him.
 

I must have been the same age and went with my brother and dad. Don't remember being able to see much of the game as it was so packed. The walk back to the car near the old barracks was miserable hearing the celebrating Man U fans who were still in the ground.
